It's looking bleak for Hartpury. Can't see them avoiding the drop. Yorkies have recruited well and will definitely go up the table.

Arrived at Golding ton road. Fantastic atmosphere as always. Filling up nicely but just started to rain.
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff.

Blues 16 - 10 Ealing

I feel Blues are edging it but go up the slope 2nd half. Ealing have been direct but the Blues defence has stayed solid.

Blues (4) 23 - 18 (1) Ealing

Ealing may come to regret coming for 5 points rather than the win, the number of times they went to the corner and came away with nothing or just 3 points 4/5 mins later.

Blues could've denied the losing bonus point at the end but the penalty kick went wide.  Ealing certainly came to play very direct and try and overpower the Blues much like Irish did in the disappointing Cup game where we failed to turn up in the 2nd half.

This tactic failed from committed Blues defence, a slippery ball and the fact Irish are just a bigger team with more ball carriers which led to a constant onslaught.

Looks like the break did Coventry no favours. An error strewn performance against a Doncaster side that did the basics far better and ultimately deserved the win.

The commitment of the blues defence and the quality of the backs, organised magnificently by Will Hooley, did the job. However, he took a nasty knock at the end, so don’t think he will make Jersey next week. Great match to watch.

Some big games with some fantastic results. Just back from the Reds - Nottingham game.
So proud of the boys, this is a really good Nottingham side that we played against today and they were good value for the 9-0 lead. But I really feel that they were too conservative and could/should have gone for the jugular.
However, Jersey got a grip on the game and were worthy winners on the back of a superb 2nd half performance. Sets it up nicely for a the visit of Bedford next week..... honestly, I can’t wait.!!

Great game today at GR, both teams playing some outstanding rugby and some really good try's. Blues definitely deserved the win they were up for it from kick off, scrapped for everything and the defence was awesome. This result could possibly put an end to Ealing's promotion hopes, I hope not, as I would like to see it go to the wire but difficult to see who can stop Irish.
