I would have loved to have gone up to Threshield this Christmas but it is not to be, but I hope we can get close to 1,000 when we go to Lockwood Park.

Looking slightly wider, I understand it can't be easy satsifying historic local derbies. This time it looks it is looks like a Lancastrian/Cheshire issue with Fylde being paired with Preston and Macclesfield with Chester. This leaves Wharfedale crossing the Pennines to play Sedgley Park.

Last season Hull Ionians " local derby" was at Echo Arena playing DMP. This year Tynedale travel to Brantingham the last Saturday before Christmas. How can that be right when several clubs are much nearer to Tynedale?

I know and understand where everyone is coming from regarding local
derbies at Christmas. However, even with the best will in the world I am sure that not all teams in the "North" will have a team in their division within striking distance. Hence our gripe last year at having to travel to Hinckley.

Redruth to Guernsey on 22nd Sept., flight from Exeter arrives 14.05, KO ?17.00 just about OK without lights I'd say, return on Sunday.  Any cheap hotels in Guernsey?

Guernsey to Redruth on 12th Jan. Early flight to Exeter enables a 2pm KO but they can't get back until 8pm on the Sunday!

I'll gladly PM anyone with my email address for the full N2S (and N1 & N2N if possible),
I gather Taunton have Redruth in September (nice) and Guernsey in December (not so nice)
Thanks in anticipation

If you want to see local derbies try Plymouth v Esher on 22nd December. Even with Cinderford promoted apparently Esher are the closest team to Plymouth. Could Taunton hurry up and get promoted please!!

Haliford dear boy, complaining already lol. Blackheath would be a good derby, or RP, OEs One does wonder at the wisdom of the organisers. Malbec done. Have a great Summer

Not complaining, just sighing! Blackheath surprised their derby game is Bishops Stortford. Some geographical lessons needed! Hitting the Picpoul de Pinet hard, nice crisp white perfect for the garden these days!

We get to Bishops Stortford from Blackheath in the same time as it takes to get to Esher and quicker than to Roslyn Park.

Looks like I misread the Guernsey website, Taunton are playing in Guernsey on 13th April 2018 - (very nice)

Given the RFU's abysmal travel funding for the Guernsey fixture I would think most club committees are on suicide watch.
If only Webb-Ellis hadn't given them the ball back!
