Just found out that clubs are not getting access to tickets for the World Cup warm up games which have replaced the usual autumn internationals. There’s been a complete lack of communication by the RFU to let us know this was the case. Having logged on to see if we can buy tickets interestingly they have all sold out, with the exception of corporate deals $$. I wonder what impact this will have on clubs who rely on tickets to support attracting and retaining sponsors. Another example of the grass roots game being overlooked?

This lin was circulated by my club - but it does not seem to be the usual club allocation.

There do appear to be some ticket left - mainly in the corners

I had notes to this effect from both clubs I'm a member of, so I don't think the "complete lack of communication" charge is a fair one.

These games are invariably non-events/ shadow-boxing and personally I'm not fussed about them. If I was in London and tickets were available on the day for £10/20, I might pop along to the games at 'HQ', but that isn't the case so I'd probably be happy with 20 mins highlights. Well done to the RFU for holding a game away from Twickers...

Fair point as in further investigation it seems as though the RFU didn’t email us but did other clubs.

My club circulated an email from the RFU advising members to buy tickets directly from the RFU's online ticketing platform. I also know this to be the case from another local club, and Birkenhead Park & Wirral both relayed the same message thought their social media.
