Sale Sharks and England hooker Rob Webber becomes Head Coach and Andy Bird, the Sale Sharks Academy Coach and Manchester Grammar School PE Head, stepping up as backs coach.

Unfortunately, Byron McGuigan has stood down due to Scotland, Sale Sharks and family commitments.

Cheshire scrum half Nick Allsop has returned following a two year spell at Macclesfield.

Word is there are other new signings in the pipeline.Thumbs Up

Rob Webber’s next summer signing is centre, James Preston from Chester RUFC. Previously James has played for North Brisbane Eagles, all age grades for Cheshire & North Midlands and Midlands Counties u16 & u18.

Absolutely gutted to be losing Jimmy Preston. Didn't get many starts for the first XV last season, but was looking sharp when he did. Also played on the wing for us, again, looks dangerous here too. Reads the game really well.

He'll definitely be an asset to you next season.

Sounds like he's fallen-out with the head coach.

A crying shame, he'd have been a true asset.

Could be anything, Mates at 'Bach, Easier travel, Works nearby, Likes the pitches, Heard good things about Webs and Birdy, Likes the ambition, Fed-up with the abuse he gets playing for Chester ;-).  But at least you know its not cash.

From what I hear it's nothing more than a clash of personalities. A real, real shame. Preston is an asset to level 4, and not having him in the squad for next season is a massive shame.

Good luck Jimmy, I hope you smash it next season.

Whatever the reason Deva we at Bach are absolutely delighted to have James with us this season and we have no doubt he will enjoy the experience which we believe is very important for all our players.

We hope as another Cheshire club Chester have a great season, good luck.

Same to you, WB.

If we can continue where we finished last season then we should be up near the top come May.

Sandbach and Lymm held a joint training session last night with some competitive sessions.

Great work out for both.

Bridgnorth centre Jimmy Gore has signed for 'bach. Understand he has moved into the area.

He joins other new signings Fly Half/Full back Jason Adam-Hein (Bath Uni) and Back Row Declan Griffiths (Llangefni).
