Does anyone think there would be merit in Premiership A League teams competing in the B&I Cup?

Probably not as they wouldn't have enough players as they borrow for their A league fixtures and who would the DRs play for

I've said before that they should join the B&I rather than continuing with the Anglo-Welsh Cup.

When do the Welsh Premiership Select teams finalise their fixtures? Jersey are due to play Dragon PS away in October but the venue and date do not appear to have been disclosed on their websites yet.

There's no confirmed date/venue for Dragons v Jersey Reds as yet.

The fixture-release process has slowed due to the complexities of fitting SA sides into the Pro12 and then the knock-on effect (not sure what effect exactly) on European fixtures which take place the same weekends as the B&I. The Welsh & Irish sides often won't confirm B&I details until they know what they're doing in Europe. This is especially frustrating if you're due to play them over the 1st/2nd weekends, but there isn't any meaningful regulation/deadline in the B&I covering a date when fixtures must be finalised. As it's only 2 months away, hopefully it won't be long...

The long-awaited Euro fixtures came out yesterday, leading to confirmation today that Dragons v Jersey Reds will will be played on Sat Oct 21 (ko 1430) at the Caerphilly County Borough Centre for Sporting Excellence in Ystrad Mynach, near Caerphilly. The facility includes the Dragons' training base and has hosted B&I ties before, although our previous away game against the Dragons was played at Cross Keys RFC. Dragons 1st XV are away that day… in Moscow!
