I've found two Youtube clips which show how Mike Harrison earned the name 'Burglar Bill'. Big smile

The first test v New Zealand in 1985  - the interception comes around 22 minutes

The second test - the interception comes around 5.50

I think I played against him when our first team game got cancelled and I jumped on minibus to Sandal? Is that right; he was playing for some vets team.  He was old.

Crieffman, That was the last T's game I saw when visiting family in the area. Wakefield were totally out powered and out hearted despite I believe having all but one of the Yorkshire pack, Mr H, and Brian Barley. I reminded Mike about it when he came over with the England Classicals for the official opening of our new clubhouse nearly 20 years ago. His response was to drop his beer and confess it was one of his worst rugby moments - not the loss but the 'over enthusiastic" Thorne support!
