Mixed emotions with the news that James Voss has left Jersey to sign for Leicester Tigers, I believe with immediate effect.
Always sorry to see a Jersey born player leave the club, especially as James has had a fantastic season, but at the same time really delighted for him. James is a truly smashing lad who always has time to spend with the supporters and kids in the Academy. He really deserves this opportunity and I am sure that he will be a big hit at Welford Road.

Well done JV, best of luck for the future.

Best wishes to the LS players who are moving on at the end of the season to Premiership clubs. Yes LS as a team may have struggled this season, but a number of the players have earned a place in the top flight. 😎
Watch Out - The Scottish Phoenix Club is on the Up!!

€aling have signed winger Howard Packman from Bedford. That’s 3 players they’ve taken from us and I believe there’s still one more they’re throwing buckets of cash to come. Won’t be surprised if their playing budget is bigger than London Irish’s next season, they must be operating at premiership level wages. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, they’re a London Welsh waiting to happen.

Ex-Pirates prop Tyler Gendall has returned to the club. He left the Pirates 18 months ago to for Harlequins before joining Bristol for this season. Great news for Pirates fans.

The lads going from Donny to Cov have been well documented!!! But they have a couple of bigger signing to announce as well!!!

Howard Packman . . brilliant player and will be sorely missed but I think re - signing of Charlie Clare is a masterstroke and he will be pivotal for Bedford pack.

Run with it

I think both Lindsay and Edgson are superior hookers to Clare. Clare was a good scrummager, but prone to lineout wobbles and wasn’t particularly dynamic in the loose. Edgson is electric in the loose and Lindsay is an all round excellent hooker. We’ve been lucky to have 2 quality hookers this season after a season of Jacob Fields...

I agree, I was never a fan of Clare, was pretty much specialist scummager.  Ealing must be favourites next year.  They are signing up a Championship dream team squad.

Cov look like they could well be up there. Irish yet to announce many signings. Shaping up well.

I think Cov could do an Ealing and get in the top four next season. I think Irish's hopes of going straight back up if they go down are in serious peril. I think Donny could be finishing in the bottom four next season if this is anything to go by. i wouldn't be surprised if we were relegated next year sadly.

Coventry are aiming for a mid-table finish I heard.  They are not looking to be concerned about relegation.  Where they benefit, is that they are a well supported club which helps with the finances.
