For LI?

Think we'll probably keep most of the 20 yo third year academy lads as we seem to be running a smaller senior squad than last time.

Most younger than that (with the exception of perhaps Loader) likely to go on loan.

Does anyone have any insight on who is going to be the Club Captain this year? Mark Bright did an excellent job last year, but I don't personally see any particular person standing out as an obvious candidate.

Dickinson for me would be the most obvious choice but just guesswork on my part

I'm guessing Glen Townson will be club captain, been at the club a couple of seasons now and was matchday captain before he got injured.

I just made it 9 !

The only retained prop being

Mark Tampin TH
Ben Betts TH
George Davis TH
Elliot Millar Mills TH
Jake Ellwood LH
Alex Lunberg LH
Matt Beesley LH
Jack OConnell LH
Ma`afu Campese LH

I aways thought Tightheads `wore out` more than looseheads or it seems that way !.

Kieran Murphy captained the teamsseveral times last season and no other player leads by example like he does in my opinion.

Getting gametime in the Leicester front row, but can't say I've noticed him too much

At 31 he still has a few years left in him - a couple of years in the championship will probably have a positive impact on his game Wink

As rumoured a few days ago, James Voss joining Coventry on a season long loan from Tigers.

Also from Tigers, a very welcome return to Coventry for Boris Stankovitch as a consultant/coach. Boris started his coaching career at Coventry as a player coach, and was extremely popular.

What a quality signing that is for Coventry, but without being rude, I feel for James as he left his home club for a dream move to Tigers, only to find himself back in the Championship on loan.
He will do a great job for you guys, very consistent player, big and quick.

I recall watching some Stormers(Cape Town) matches on TV when he played. He was well thought of.
