Good opportunities over in Hong Kong at the moment with The south China tigers in the global rapid rugby comp. basically means you can play representative rugby at a good level without having to do the residential qualification.

Aye, but the fish and chips are better in Brid!
That's easy for you to say.

So with updates about 10 possibly left at YC! Even if those 10 stay, which is unlikely, thats a lot of players to find in June/July . . and Uni players could not handle Championship as a team!

There is the academy.
Roughly 36 players of whom 12 have played National 2 level. And I assume the others are younger, possibly too young to play in the pack.

...and Ealing have snuffled up Elijah Niko from Leeds. To me this is a good signing, as I have him playing predominantly as a Centre, where Ealing looked very thin, having only Pat Howard, Lewis Jones, and Harry Sloane on the books before this. All good players, but not nearly enough bodies for a full season. I understand that Elijah had 7 tries in 14 matches for Leeds last year, and was lured over after a chat with fellow Aussie Jordy Reid.

Ealing also have Guy Armitage, not sure much luring would have been needed to get Elijah fromYC!

Nice signing - lots of experience. Will he have competition for his slot in the team or is he a shoe in if fit and healthy?
Onward and Upwards C'mon Donny!

I'd say definite competition. We have a number of back row players now, with good experience of championship or higher.

I think this forthcoming season is going to be a corker when you look at the standards of some of the signings being made - Newcastle look out.

Yes. Cov have released the 'second-rate' (not my words) lock from the remainder of his two year contract.
Presumably some cash winging its way up the M5.

Another one who played for Richmond. At only 22 will only get better.

Full respect for Cov in facilitating this move to the Prem. I hope they are well compensated financially but it surely reflects well on them and will be recognised by agents and players who will see them as willing to do the right thing for their players.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.
