Interesting opinion. Out of curiosity, is there any specific reason that you think that Jersey are overhyped?
The Reds are on form in the league and just have the 1 defeat at Ealing in recent games, as have LI with their defeat in Jersey.
The form book has LI with 21 league points to Jerseys 20, but LI have scored a lot more points than the Reds.
Both teams are in good form and LI are rightfully favorites, but Jersey are more than capable of beating them.... again.
Personally I wouldn’t say that they are overhyped, just enjoying a current good run. This ‘should’ be a cracking game for the Telly.
Nowt wrong with a bit of hype if it gets a few more punters through the gate on Sunday. I'm really torn on this one in that I've bought air tickets etc to go but the best place to watch the game is probably the Pav bar at St Peter (will Sky have the sense to get a camera in the Pav? - it will be heaving with those awful Jersey supporters banging on tables, ringing cowbells and cheering their team on - I'm sure the few who make it to Reading will try to emulate their mates back home and the Irish supporters will wonder what the lack of decorum is all about. I've not seen any odds yet on the game but I predict Irish will be huge odds on favourites - but this is Jersey's cup final and I hope they pick a side to really have a go out wide rather than contain and stifle the match in midfield.  If Irish play to form of course they will win but my glass remains half full and I hope that Jersey counter the couple of mauled tries which Irish are bound to get with five tries from a Jersey team which plays 15 man rugby. Howay Jersey
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

Has anybody been keeping track of the scores in the prediction league?

No, we're all practicing for the thought of non-competetive sport under ring-fencing.

Is that actually 'sport'.
Perhaps in the same way as ice skating and ballroom dancing are?

After watching Irish recently I feel the key for Jersey is to make sure you win your lineouts. Irish are as vulnerable as any team if you put them on the back foot.Jersey are just as capable of scoring from rolling mauls. The other thing is to behave and not give away penalties in your own half allowing Myler to kick to the corner.

Spot on Pappashanga. That is one of the reasons that we beat them in November, our penalty count was the lowest that it has been for as long as I can remember. Make sure that you are the right side of 'sir' and trust in your defence, make the most of the ball when you have it...simples

Knights 5 v 1 Richmond
Bedford 4 v 0 Coventry
Scottish 0 v 4 Nottingham

Irish 1 v 5 Jersey - I last saw Jersey against Nottingham and the score line was a little flattering and only read about the Bedford result. I'm hoping Jersey put in a really good performance in front of the Sky Cameras. No doubt premiership big cheeses will be watching to see who can be plucked out of the Jersey ranks next season!

Pirates 4 v 1 Hartpury
Leeds C 1 v 4 Ealing

It's an interesting call between Irish and Jersey.  On paper Irish should win, but Jersey have two things in their favour: first, they are Irish's bogey team; and second, Irish have a very special ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory - just look at the match at the Santander Stadium earlier this season.  So if Jersey can keep Irish within one score they'll have a real chance; if they let Irish get their power game going, I think they'll struggle.  I just hope that the Jersey supporters who make it over to the Madejski Stadium aren't too disappointed with its soulless atmosphere - it's a cavernous place with bar facilities suited more to football than rugby (i.e. they're awful...)  So please don't assume that this is a fair reflection our supporters!  Once we move to our new stadium I'm hoping we'll be able to present a much more welcoming face to visiting fans.

Donny 4-1 Mond - a Really close game but at home I think Donny by 3-5 points
Bedford 5-0 Coventry At home Blues by 10-12 points and Cov could easily push them closer than that.
London Scottish 4-1 Nottingham two good defences but at home Exiles by 4-6 points
London Irish 0-5 Jersey - Irish to get two or three mauled efforts but in my dreams Jersey score five - three from that incredible backline and a five metre maul in each half (one for Maddison & another for Selway) - the Bookies have Irish five to one odds on favourites but they were wrong against Briz last season so I remain ever hopeful.
Pirates 5 -0 Hartpury - At home surely a full haul for Pirates
Yorkies 1- 4 Ealing - This will be close but Ealing need to keep winning to keep the league title in their sights.

Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

And ironic because the London Irish kit makes them look a bit like mature bogeys!

Pick me a winner!

LS 4 - Nottingham 1 - LS on the up and tough at home
LI 5 - Reds 1 - LI to show their quality
CP 5 - Hartpury 1 - Might be a close affair
