Bedford           4 - 1      London Irish - Bedford turned over Ealing a few weeks ago, and I think that they will be 100% focused on the league now. I predict a crowd of over 3000, but a relatively low scoring affair that ends in a close Bedford win.

Coventry          5 - 0       Hartpury Coventry too tough at home.

Ealing            5 - 0       Doncaster I feel like Ealing are finding their form and gelling finally. Doncaster could come in with a chip on their shoulder due to having a few Ealing loanees/releases on the team, but I don't think it is enough in the end.

Jersey            5 - 0       London Scottish - Jersey will come out firing as they will be smarting from the loss to the pirates.

Nottingham        1 - 4       Leeds - Nottingham to come out flat after being thumped last week, and Leeds to be riding high on their win over Bedford for upset of the week.

Richmond          0 - 5       Cornish Pirates - Pirates to win at the RRRRAG.

Bedford           2 - 4      London Irish - this could be tight

Coventry          4 - 1       Hartpury - Cov to hold it together

Ealing            5 - 2       Doncaster - hoping for more, perhaps us practicing on our all weather pitch more often may pay dividends this time, in which case (2 - 5)

Jersey            5 - 1       London Scottish - Jersey to do the business but Scottish to put some tries on the board.

Nottingham        4 - 1       Leeds - Nottingham rediscovers their magic and squeezes a victory out

Richmond          0 - 5       Cornish Pirates - the pirates invade the RAG and come away with the plunder.

Onward and Upwards C'mon Donny!

Bedford 4-1 Irish Close one but at home Blues to win by a handful of points
Coventry 4-1Hartpury home advantage to be decisive
Ealing 1-4 Doncaster Could go either way but I fancy Donny in this one
Jersey 4-1 Scottish Jersey showing indifferent form but I hope for a home win
Nottingham 2-5 Carnegie Tie of the round - 15 man rugby and lots of tries
Richmond 0-4 Pirates Two exceptional defences & forward packs but Pirates on form to take it

Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

Be aware, the cavalry is arriving for Hartpury. Mat Protheroe, flanker Sam Graham, winger Charlie Powell, lock Ehize Ehizode and prop forward Jake Armstrong all arriving on loan from Bristol.

Yes, Birmingham & Solihull did that sort of thing once, keeping it quiet until the relegation playoffs.
I wonder if Hartpury can emulate that effect?
Distasteful, but nothing to stop them.
B&S fell through the trapdoor the following season though.

The lock played against Jersey and looked a real talent. Jake made the Championship dream team and is a genuinely excellent prop.

Yes, that particular trick is still fresh in the memory for some Cov supporters.  Hardly seems fair but hopefully changing a third of the team at short notice will have a detrimental effect...
