very similar to mine, just Jersey v Ealing different. Notts v Pirates could be any points combination, just fancied Pirates on balance at the moment

Jersey v Ealing 1 - 4 Depends on the weather
Nottingham v Cornish Pirates 4-1 Nottingham difficult place to go to
Rotherham v Bedford 0-4 Small field equals few tries, but if the weather's good who knows?
Doncaster v Hartpury College 4-1 Close
London Scottish v Bristol 1-5 Maybe Scottish will score four tries
Yorkshire Carnegie v Richmond 1-4 If Mond play their best

So the first round of dead rubbers begins (I know that mathematically not, but realistically the top and bottom places are pretty much done). However, the players won't see it that way and there are some good games in prospect this weekend.

Jersey 4 - 1 Ealing...Always an edge to this game and I think that it will be tight. Boring boring Jersey to nick this one after a brilliant performance at Bedford. Also, how much will that tight defeat take out of Ealing? or will it spur them on? Looking forward to this one.
Nottingham 4 - 1 Pirates...Another good match up. Both teams are inconsistent, but I think that home advantage will squeeze it.
Rotherham 0 - 5 Bedford...Bedford to bounce back and given ball they will score freely.
Doncaster 5 - 0 Hartpury...Hartpury are a very well drilled side and will make it tough for Knights, but this is a huge ask for them to come away with anything.
LS 1 - 5 Bristol...Bristol to celebrate last weeks win in style with LS picking up a TBP as Bristol take their foot off of the gas.
YC 5 - 0 Richmond...Again, Richmond will make it difficult for YC, they can be a very disruptive side, but I expect Carnegie to be too powerful for Mond.

Good luck everyone and fingers crossed, no injuries please.

Jersey Reds 0 - 5 Ealing Trailfinders - Could be a very tricky encounter
Nottingham 4 - 1 Cornish Pirates - CP not great on the road
Rotherham 1 - 4 Bedford Blues - Close encounter, BB will not like the small confines!
Doncaster Knights 5 - 0 Hartpury - Another close game . . but Donny hitting form
London Scottish 0 - 5 Bristol - Too much quality for Bristol . . who can  now relax
Yorkshire Carnegie 4 - 1 Richmond - Interesting battle . . home advantage and a bigger pack
Run with it

Following a few truly miserable days in Jersey weather wise, the forecast for today and tomorrow are looking pretty good for the game against Ealing.
The forecast for the game is a cool 6 or 7 degrees with light winds and more importantly, a dry day with perhaps a bit of sun.
The pitch has taken a lot of water recently, so is bound to be soft under foot, but has played really well all season, so I am really hoping for a great game of attrition up front with some hard running out of the breakdown. I can see Aaron Pemberthy working his little grubbers and chips again, trying to turn the Jersey defence that worked so well last season. Not so sure that it will have the same affect this time out if he tries it.

Nevertheless, this looks like we have the prospect of a cracking game of rugby to look forward to and on current form this should go all the way to the last play. A Jersey win obviously!!

Glad to hear about the weather. As for the result, always good to be optimistic. A soft pitch may favour Jersey.
