Predictions:
Hartpury 5 v Nottingham 1 - Hartpury with their influx of prem players will win this I think.
London Scottish 4 v Coventry 1 - Coventry's poor away form to continue
Richmond 1 v Ealing 5 - Richmond will battle hard here but Ealing should take it.
Doncaster 1 v Bedford 4 - Castle Park has not been a fortress this season at all. I expect Bedford to edge it on Saturday but not by much. would like to back Donny but we're not playing well enough at home unfortunately.
Leeds 4 v London Irish 1 - for the promotion race to keep going Carnegie have to stop Irish here. perhaps they could....
Cornish Pirates 1 v Jersey 4 - crikey this is a tough one to call. a 5-0 either way or a draw wouldn't surprise me. just favour Jersey.

Friday 8th March:
Hartpury 4-1 Nottingham  Surely a must win for Hartpury & Company
London Scottish 4-1  Coventry At the RAG home win by 4-6 points

Saturday 9th March:
Richmond 2-5 Ealing -A must 5 pointer for Ealing but I hope for a couple of points for Mond
Doncaster 1-4 Bedford - Should be a great match which could go either way. Donny always do well when I predict they will lose.

Sunday 10th March:
Cornish Pirates 2-5 Jersey In my dreams both sides play top of their form loads of tries and a couple of points in it at the end - in my nightmares a mud bath and a gale - looking forward to the match at Brickfields on Saturday as well.
Yorkshire Carnegie 1-4 London Irish  I hope Yorkies win to keep the league going as a contest but Irish unlikely to let things slip before they visit the Mennaye at the end of the month.

Edited to reflect error in original post - a 4-6 point win properly would give a bonus point to Cov.

Predictions:
Hartpury 5 v Nottingham 1 - Glostolpury to win this one with a predicted 7 dual reg players.
London Scottish 1 v Coventry 4 - Scottish to stumble following coaching change announcement.
Richmond 1 v Ealing 5 - Much depends on injuries for Ealing, but I still think that they'll run in quite a few tries toward the end of the game, but allow Richmond 4 tries to get the BP.
Doncaster 1 v Bedford 4 - Bedford will be keen to redeem themselves after the debacle with Leeds last weekend.
Leeds 5 v London Irish 1 - A long trip for Irish, and the Leeds lads will be looking to prove themselves to line up new contracts next year. If they can score tries like last weekend, we could be in for a shock.
Cornish Pirates 4 v Jersey 1 - Short trip for Jersey this week ;), but the Mennaye is a tough place to play.

The Hartpury team that ran Ealing close at the weekend had 7 loanees starting and 3 on the bench.

Gloucester -Vellacott, Ludlow,
Bristol - Eden, Tovey, Seabrook, Foley and Graham all started
Worcester academy - Dodd, Scott and Morris on the bench.

Is there a rule/law about how many loan players you can field in a match squad? This looks a bit much to me.

And before anyone gets defensive I know Nottingham have used some loan players too this season.
Forever Green.

Well, Woody, as they've been doing it for several weeks now, with no sanction, I think we can safely say they are within the regulations.
Stupid as they are.

I believe that we discovered that up to 13 are allowed, and there is a cut off for Dual-reg in mid-March. I'm going to use my amazing powers of prognostication to guess that Hartpury will suddenly find that they have no loan players available to them the week that they play London Irish.

In their post match blurb this week they refer to 'our Premiership partners'and fear that some players may have been injured in last Friday's Gloucester v Bristol match. I had to think about this for a bit(I'm not too bright), then I realised that the aforementioned 'partners' might need the Hartpury loanees as cover.
It's farcical as we all know, but Hartpury really has lost its identity, it's a joint Gloucester/Bristol enterprise.I note that many on here are predicting they'll beat Nottingham. I hope not.

13 seems like an awful lot but if its within the rules/regs/laws good luck to them. Yorkies seem to have shipped in a load of players which have seen them well away from the relegation spot - can Mond borrow a few players from Quins or other premiership clubs to even things up? Seems to strain the concept of club rugby somewhat. I wonder what a premiership partner arrangement consists of.

The difference with Leeds, though, is that they've mostly signed them. Not borrowed them. No issue with that.

I understand the cut off to have been February 14th.

Does take the p*** a tad tbh.
