Agree Kimbo, should be further ahead. Hope that drop on the line doesn’t cost us!

1800 or so at St Peter today to watch men against boys. I don't know what the DoR s plan was "To do something different", but it surely didn't include, 'Don't tackle" . Thought our game against Hartpury was the pits but this was just as bad. We were outplayed in all departments.  Ealing looked a proper team, played at pace, and threatened everytime they had possession. Shame there isn't a closer points gap to the top, as based on what I saw today, they are every bit as good as Irish

Difficult to argue against this summary but credit to Ealing they really wanted it and won virtually every collision. The Ealing loose head prop totally dominated the scrum and their back row was awesome. I have not seen as many tackles missed from a Jersey midfield for several seasons. If both sides had been "up for it" this could have been a cracking contest in wonderful conditions but sadly only one team wanted it today. Well played Ealing you have competed all the way - I can only hope Jersey show more intent and interest on Good Friday at Nottingham and in the final home match against Cov.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

Desperate performance once again from Pirates who gifted Scottish a BP win. All the possession but no composure. Pirates now with 7 defeats in a row, and having lost to this lot it's looking like it'll be 9 defeats in a row to end the season. Gone backwards at a rate of knots since the hammering we took at home to Ealing. We're bottom four at best at the moment. Unless we make some decent signings, next season is going to be very very long.

It's not surprise that Blues, Jersey, Pirates, I would even say Nottingham aren't playing anywhere the level they were earlier in the season for as there is nothing to play for.

Blues were pretty much in 2nd gear throughout today's game.  Hoping we turn up next week v Ealing to try and do the double.

I'd love the Blues to have half of the Richmond's team work rate and spirit, it more than makes up for their lack of quality and cutting edge.

Blues 5 points, Richmond get 2 bonus points

Pirates are in a bad way at the moment, probably due to a lack of numbers in the squad. When everyone was fit and firing at the start of the season we went off like a train. Now we're down to the bare bones, especially in the front row. Our major weakness all season has been the line out - we just can't seem to get it right consistently. Again, today, we had an attacking line out in Scottish territory with a chance to secure the game, messed it up and second later LA score the winning try.

You've got Craig Willis next year at least. He was excellent today.

Disagree there , the Blues. Can't speak for the other teams you mentioned but Jersey had a lot to play for today. To put right the awful last home game against Hartpury, to maintain third place in the League and our highest position ever, to put on a good performance for sponsors , team and individuals and a decent sized crowd, and most importantly, for pride in the shirt. There wasn't much of that shown today. I hope the team got a right bolloc-cking at half time because they certainly needed it.
Two games to go , one away and a final one at home against Coventry, who beat us at the beginning of the season. And yes, there'll be plenty to play for in that one too, notably avoiding a third straight defeat at home
Come on Jersey........

I have to agree with other posters and agree that Jersey weren’t at the races and were well beaten today.
You can’t make the sort of mistakes that The Reds made today and get away with it against a quality side like ET. Ealing simply didn’t make those sort of mistakes... top quality side.

However, I have now leant what the rest of the RM posters mean about Tim Wigglesworth. What a shocking referee he really is.
Forget the endless stream of errors that he made for both sides, what really got me was, as Jersey eventually scored their second try, Nick Selway was subject to a horrendous tip tackle which went totally unnoticed by the officials, despite the incident being in front of the ref and an 18 stone hooker literally being held upside down. I have never called for a red card before, but I did today. This was shocking.
