Not much love for YC this week. Every poster so far (including myself) has gone 5-0 in favor of LI.
Come on Carnegie, prove us all wrong!

Might be a Yorkshire thing Brizzer. I think I'm the only Muppet predicting a Donny win but although I still think YC have class players I reckon Irish will keep their run going!

However, Irish have been struggling in the scrum and just lost Petrus Du Plessis to Glasgow effective immediately.

Out of interest which games have you seen? We have been pretty dominant in the scrum. Du Plessis is 3rd choice so no big loss.

Defensive Sir Burger, very defensive...not rattled are you about the prospect of losing at home to the leagues bottom side (currently)?. Lots of pressure!!

Not sure love comes into it, just a healthy dose of realism. I can't imagine we will have found a replacement 10 by the weekend, this could be a cricket score!
That's easy for you to say.

Very sad news. Let's hope that the damage isn't too severe and he reappears at some point after Christmas.

Certainly Cov lock Nile Dacres who suffered an ACL injury in pre-season is not expected to return this season.

5 - 0

Coventry  London Scottish

Coventry were awful last week cannot see them that  bad again

Interesting game going for home just

4-1

London Irish  Leeds

Notts playing better than I thought

I think it is interesting that you'd say that Ealing isn't as good as last year. I think that in terms of personnel, Ealing has a superior squad this year, but I'd agree that the results that they are getting aren't as impressive as last year. Last year the whole was greater than the sum of the parts, this year it just isn't so far. I'd guess that it is due to developing chemistry, lack of on-field leadership with Dickinson out, and Codling's departure (and the subsequent Buckland debacle). Barring major injuries, I'd predict that their form increases massively over the next month as Townson (and Eddie Jones who was at training this week) whips them into a more cohesive unit.

I agree with this and would add that I think Ealing have a superior playing squad to Irish with greater depth but the later are still likely to win the league because of their superior coaching and organisational strength. I think both Irish and Ealing's forwards and defence will be hugely tested by the likes of Cov, Mond, Blues, Pirates and Donny and I hope Jersey will give them both a good match. It should be a great league this season top and bottom but imo it would have been exceptional if it built up to play offs.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.
