Whilst, admittedly I have watched this year's competition as I always do, through black and gold tinted spectacles, I think it is fair to say that Cornwall have been pretty impressive this year - particularly in the second half of all their three games. They have gelled as a real team - and whilst you may see Level Seven and Level Eight players in the squad, they don't look out of place at all. Last year, I didn't feel Cornwall reached their full potential until the Final.

Having said that, Lancashire will be formidable opponents, as ever. You just have to look at their record in this competition, particularly since 2000 to see that. I expect them to be even more dangerous on Sunday - having been denied a spot in the final last year. Anyone needs to be at their absolute best for 80 minutes to defeat Lancashire. It has the makings of an outstanding game between two brilliant teams.
I cannot wait to get to Twickenham for the game.

I assume Jamal Ford Robinson will be cheering the Duchy on on Sunday from the England bench.
Can someone remind me when he was last in the Cornwall squad?

Good luck to Hampshire tomorrow and particularly the two current Worthing players and one ex player.
I understand they may all start on the bench, but I am sure they will make an impact when called upon.

Equally good luck to Leicestershire and especially the Hinckley contingent.
Looking forward to watching the RFU stream and a reverse of the result when the teams last met in the
Plate final of 2008 at Aldershot.

2014. I think his wonder try in the final is on YouTube somewhere.

Lancashire were inept in first 40 mins and Cornwall deserved to lead by more than 0-8 with a strong display by their pack through a close quarters drive for their try. But 2nd half was totally different and fluent attacking and shipping the ball wide destroyed the Cornish defence. The finishing class of Fylde's Anthony Bingham & Scott Armstrong, who both scored tries, did for Trelawny's Army. A third try was scored by team mate & hooker Tom Burtonwood who somehow was hanging around on the right wing. Final score was 19-8. This was the Red Rose county's 25th victory in the long history of the County Championship.

A great level of Cornish support for their team though. If only RU meant as much to the average punter in Lancashire as in the Duchy ...

Credit to the RFU for their live streaming of the three Finals.

Watched it on the live stream, agree with all AF comments regarding strong second half from Lancashire - Well Done. Now for a break for all the lads then see who moving where, noticed Preston signed up 5 already, Fylde 2 new, Sedgeley sighed anyone? Are Rossendale in the market to try get top spot rather than play offs, be interesting seeeing Arnold vs Nellie, tactics will they be similar to how they played at Fylde or change to get promotion?

Sorry went off topic just curious how the Lancashire clubs are going to fair next season - good luck all.

Just back from Twickenham - seriously well done to Lancashire. Your second half showing was just too good for us. Your sub scrum-half, Steve Collins was really instrumental. Something all the finals between the two sides teaches you is that when you have ball and territory you really have to convert it into a lead on the scoreboard. Eight points was not a big enough return for all Cornwall's efforts in the first half. We enjoyed it despite the result as anyone who witnessed out singing in the Line-Out Bar afterwards would testify. How we love the strange looks of the England supporters each year!!

We've fielded a vastly changed team this year compared to last and played some outstanding rugby to get to the Final. Well done Lancashire!
