It finished 12-35 at Butts Pk, with 1,451 there - sounds like a decent evening, well done Cov... the Canucks head off to a large city in the south of France (that includes 4 letters that could mean a ruder word than bottom) for the RWC repechage tournament

Didn't bother, but understand several development lads played, and several kicks were missed, so not too poor a result all in all.

It was very much a development squad game for Coventry, and equally not quite a full team for Canada, with some French-based Canadian players who had played on Saturday flying in and watching. Coventry missed 5 points kicking - but overall were well beaten, and the five made so significant difference.
During and afterwards the coaches from both sides seemed pretty pleased with the evening, and although towards the end there was one little brawl, and a yellow card, overall it was played in the right spirit.
Certainly a pleasant evening.

It was, and some of the development boys showed they are capable of competing.  They had a chance to wear the Coventry short and some did it really well, to be fair.
