Big game at Vallis way today and I looking forward to seeing two local lads who have moved to Jersey.

Josh Hodson and George Eastwell. Josh played his youth rugby at Ealing and his whole family were heavily involved. His younger brother is doing very well following in his brothers footsteps . His father use to film youth matches for coaching and review.

The games against Jersey are always close encounters. Hoping to meet some Rolling-maulers.

Just read the Jersey review . Neither player I mentioned are in the match day squad. Always do research before posting !. I assuming they are injured or worse "rested".

Both players I mentioned. George Eastwell and Josh Hodson are indeed both injured . I was informed that the Jersey Reds have an exceptional amount of players on the injury list ( over ten players ). The squad is reduced from previous years and some inexperienced players have been drafted in. Having said that the Jersey pack were far more competitive than the Bristol pack and got the better of the Ealing in the scrum.

I think the final score flattered Ealing Trailfinders who struggled to secure the forth try in a game that was strewn with errors , dropped ball , very poor passing and aimless kicking. A proportion of this was down to the pressure put on Ealing by the Jersey stubborn defence. The game was incredibly stop start with an  inordinate amount of injuries to both teams.
