You have a wonderful turn of phrase Kimbo.

Au revoir Richmond, hope we meet again.
Speak softly, but carry a big stick.

thinking about it. Richmond's relegation really annoys me. you have a proper rugby club who have competed brilliantly against full time teams relegated because a fake rugby club that shouldn't be in this league relied on dual-registered players from premiership clubs. its an absolute disgrace and the RFU are totally weak and spineless for letting it happen. the dual-registration system totally stinks.

DKF . . . totally agree, but Premiership rugby wants the Championship to disapear and become a hybrid A league and the RFU pander to them!!! I also sincerely hope Richmond make it back . . a proper rugby club running 5 senior teams . . best of luck to them
Run with it

I think one of Donny''s problems is you can't sign players from struggling Roth teams and expect them to be world beaters 10 miles up the road.

Surely the rules for loan/DR players are decided by the clubs taking part at each level before the season starts. If clubs don't like the number allowed they should vote to reduce it.

Dual- Registration works giving young players game time. Cheats like Hartpury are not acting to the Spirit of the Game.

Cracking game at the sunny Mennaye this afternoon. The first half was much or the same sloppy Pirates mistakes, conceding 10 penalties in 40 minutes. The second half however showed just how much character and determination this team has. Fantastic performance, and we certainly looked fitter than YC going into the final 15 minutes. Super game and a great advert for 2nd tier English rugby.

PS. The referee was horrendous, didn't seem to have much of a clue what was going on.

Quite agree. Mr Turvey had a terrible game. So proud of The Pirates in that second half. We scored two tries while down to 14 men (very harsh sin binnings) and really had to dig deep against a big, powerful Leeds team. Our only fit hooker, Dan Frost, was like a man possessed, nailed every line out (except one) scored a brilliant try and generally rampaged around the field.

As I was unable to attend, could you tell me whether the ref was equally clueless in sending off Joe Buckle?
That's easy for you to say.

Hard to say from where I was Albert - buy it looked to me that as the Leeds players tired in the sunshine a number started throwing punches

They are facing redundancy after the next match so lets not be to harsh on them

Indeed, though I would hope that most of those who are out of contract find a home elsewhere.
That's easy for you to say.

It was Brizzer, would have been even better with a decent referee.

Your opinion, not sure calling a team 'cheats' is on considering they are not breaking the competition rules.
