After both sides went through their captain's runs this evening the time has finally come for England to take on Ireland.

Hoppers are offering a brass band before kick off and plenty of refreshments amongst other things.

We are hoping for a big crowd to get behind the event and would love to see plenty of members of this forum in attendance. Wink

Really pleased for the Ealing lads in the starting line up, but none more so than Owen ... absolutely cracking player and a real clubman. He 'retired' a few seasons ago, but after a few months just couldn't help himself and pulled on his boots again. This is great recognition for his effort fo the club over the years and I am truly delighted fo him.

Be interesting how they do against ireland as there is some really good communication and understanding between the players on the park from Ealing and doubtless hodge will be looking to exploit any cracks with a talented back line.

I do hope they really enjoy the experience and come back fit and healthy!     
What a blessing it would be if we could open and shut our ears as easily as we open and shut our eyes!
