We have had some team info from newcomers Launceston and other comments,but what about Esher.
Does anyone have info on their signings or even how they are to approach the coming season.

According to the lovely ladies from Esher who grace Exeters' message board they are at the very least approaching the coming season by obliterating all West Country opposition. If they can thrash Pirates Plymouth and Exeter, which these ladies seem confident of, expect them to finish no lower than 3rd!
 
At least one of them is from Hersham, which I presume is on planet Zog?

If he's still there the forwards/head coach is Mike Schmidt ex captain of Roth before he was dumped by an over enthusiastic new DOR along with Mike Umaga who went to Cov but got sacked last year.
 
I can see that as being the reason for them doing the biz this year.  Mike has a good head on his shoulders having taken Roth to the top several years running.

He'll need some money though Piggy. I really rate Ian Smith as coach -  think he's done a great job getting Mose back into ND1 and keepin us up, but with limited resources everyone saw how tough it was to survive in our first season.

There has been not even a rumour to my knowledge of players that they may have signed. It doesn't matter who is their coach / DoR. Without players of Div 1 standard (and I'm sure their whole squad can't be!) they will struggle. The other promotees, Launceston, have picked up some very good players from the other local Div 1 sides including Tont Roques from Exeter who recently (and briefly) captained England 7s.
 
Maybe Esher are going to rely on loans from the likes of Wasps & London Irish, a dangerous tactic if loan players become the backbone of any success you have.
