This is another reason why I would like the fixtures asap as I can then assess where to fly from

Totally agree with the flights issues - not very Rugby friendly for sure.
Onward and Upwards C'mon Donny!

We have a few of those in Jersey as well mate! It took me over a week to sort last season's travel out and I've had a fair bit of experience at it over the years.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

I live about a 15 minute jaunt from Heathrow, so I was gutted to discover that I needed to hike all the way to Gatwick to get a flight to Jersey - seems odd that there is nothing from Heathrow.

I feel your pain, living near Gatwick nothing irks me more than having to fly from Heathrow.

I suspect Heathrow is too important to worry about flights to places such as Guernsey.

I believe there are regular flights between Guernsey & Heathrow but not to or from Jersey.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

The fixture release must be pretty imminent now. Islander, have the preliminary fixtures been released to the clubs yet?

Presumably no fixtures can be released until the YC situation is clarified, and they have until the end of July?

It’s was mentioned at the Blues AGM last week that premier sides are unlikely to play Championship sides in pre season friendlies and both the first 3 weeks of the season when the appropriate cup competitions start will be used as warm up game
