rumoured tonga'uiha...of the hudson variety (Donny centre) could be on his way to London Welsh with Plymouth winger Liam Gibson.

Now rumours abound Nic Rouse is attracting interest from premiership clubs :/

If he were to go only our backrow would remain from our one formidable pack.

Hope Glenn is searching the championship/national leagues for replacements. Need grizzled campaigners to boost our pack not prem academy boys i feel.

Not too concerned about Tristan. Good on his day (and he had quite a few good days) but not yet a wet weather 10.
The 'Williams' bit is covered on a different thread - it's Andy Williams who left Mose in about December last season to get a crack at the Premiership with Gloucester. V good 9 - but we haven't seem him for 6 months so not exactly a move from Mose to Wuss.

Billesley - how is the Mose squad shaping up for next season? I've just been reading the Churchill Cup report from the game against France and it lists Mensah-Coker as 'unattached' - has he gone/going?

It still listed Adam Kleeberger as being a Roth player but he has left the club according to the papers, we believe he's after a higher level of rugby and has other offers.

If the Marsden story is true that is very good news for Mose.  He fell out of favour at Exe last year but, in many of our opinions, he was the best full back at the club by a long chalk.   Very safe under the high ball, good attacker, clinical finisher and excellent general of the back three.  His departure has not yet been confirmed at Exe but announcements about leavers are due out this week

Steve - only news so far is as listed in the squad update thread. there are further signings due to be announced and the club has stated they will not make any announcements on players retained until all contracts are returned. This is to avoid any speculation relating to players who are being retained but whose contracts are still outstanding. The club line has consistently been that the majority of last season's squad has been retained "where required".

Exe, I'd be surpised if Marsden joined us now with the signing of Carter from Donny. Unless he's happy to play on the wing. I can't see the budget stetching to 2 full backs of that quality but I'd love to be wrong

Sean Marsden is quality and, if these rumours are true, will bring Moseley a lot of tries and joy.  Hope he finds happiness there.

Josh Brown is a very good prospect , he went out on loan to Dings in 2south Last season after being told he was surplus to requirements  , but unfortunately just before Xmas in the local Derby v Clifton was injured , his knee needed i believe major reconstruction , although im told hes now fully fit , not sure if he will get into the Scottish team , still a young lad who needs to eat his greens Evil Smile unless they have a softer under belly than they did a few seasons ago

Many Thanks WCB1 for the info. Could be a good edition to the Clan.

Another Bristol player could well be on his way to London Scottish. Alex Clarke (29) loosehead prop and a 2008 England Saxon’s player has been linked with LS. Tasty addition to the Scottish front row, if it comes to fruition. Wink

Wow Dual Coders seem about as popular as Dual Reggers.Hug

Joking appart i think the Henry Paul signing might be as much about getting someone with professional experience with regards fittness, conditioning, training, coaching etc etc as it is about signing a player.

Perhaps he sees it as a first step into coaching who knows.

Border Currie Cup fly-half Cliff Hodgson and Ireland U21 international (and ex-Barnard Castle, Newcastle & Leeds academy) flanker Sean Dougall are both pre-season training with Rotherham.

No official announcements on signings yet.

Ah yes the mighty Russians forgot about that thanks.

I've been told that he was still as fit as the butchers dog at the first couple of training sessions which he'll need to be working under Andre.
