Wakefield won the Bridlington 7s on 7 April 1996. The runners up were the East Coast Exiles (another squad from Wakefield captained by Terry Garnett).

From left to right, standing - Nick Green, Alistair McClarron, Andy Day, ?, Jon Adams, Steve Dykes, Dixie Hendry, Terry Garnett, Phil Maynard, ?, Jonathan Griffiths, ?

Kneeling - Simon Cowling, Andy Metcalf, Damien Edge, Nick Dykes, Glen Wilson, Ian Shuttleworth.

I think it's young Ashley Garnett holding the cup.

The ? are, looking at my records who else played that day,  Dan Stevens/Stephens, Mark Pryor and 'Catty', although not, I suspect in that order.

Wakefield won the final 31-17.

Looking through an old programme, the ? is Corlesdon, who I presume is 'Catty'.

The guy on the fair right is Ian Cassleden, a mate of Garnett's from Hull.
