Alex is currently in the spinal injury unit at Pinderfield Hospital, Wakefield following yesterday's unfortunate accident in Lymms match at Sandal. He has received fantastic treatment from the medical staff and is being made as comfortable as possible. His wife, Antonia, and his parents are with him.
Alex has fractured his 'C3' vertebrae in the upper spine. He has suffered a great deal of 'spinal trauma' and has limited sensation below the shoulders. He has been placed on traction and this could be the situation for a month whilst his spinal cord has the chance to recover.
For those that don't know, Pinderfield specialises in spinal injuries and Bosh could not be in better hands.
Our thoughts are with Bosh, Antonia, the children and family.

What can we say other than hope that things turn out ok and express our support. The rugby fraternity always rallies around when a player gets such a bad injury. It is very tough indeed.
