Any clubs in N2 made any signings ahead of the new season that they are willing to admit or re-signed anyone that they thought they might lose?

Going to be another cracking season I am sure

Be good if we start off with Caldy???

How about starting off at second row??? (starter for Mr D!)
That's going to hurt....

I'm sure all will be revealed on Saturday at caldys first pre season training session!

In my opinion we need a prop who can play both sides an can carry ball to take the pressure off Parker and sainsburyhead

A big imposing second rower who can mix it with the dirty players of te league like my biggest fan Davidson

A back rower to fill the space of JJ Dickinson converting to 12

Dirty Players and Davidson is a bit harsh.

Davidson is a player on the edge of the Laws testing the Officials and always has a smile on his face as he flattens you.

Dirty is too strong a word.

If you had a palyer of his ability you would be pleased as he would disrupt the opposition in the same way as Davidson does for Lucts.

Or am I missing something and there is another on the edge player with the same name? LOL

No comment on the man I guess you are implying as I may or may not have to train with him!

The edge of the law is not standing on people's faces, but yes he is very effective and is no doubt a talisman and game winner for Lucs

I thought you had one. He's getting on a bit but still fits the job description ...Wink

Can you not resign Arnie so Dickinson can stay in the pack?

Unlikely that Arnie would leave Fylde to take on a new challenge.

I hear we got whatsisname and that young fellow from down the road; also that we've retained a few and lost a couple but are expecting more news soon.

How's everyone else doing?
Me? I'm just buzzin' around!

I heard that Saturday will see a new enforcer take to Paton Field. Not sure if he is a 2nd row. More of a Schalk Brits type player rather than Bakkies Botha.

He is also a front row player. Caldy front row will certainly be competitive this year - Parker/Brits/Ratboy - plenty of tries from that combination.

Alas jiblet neck Harold I propped at a sevens competition against level 8 props and am only just getting movement back in my neck, il stick to lulling opposition wingers into a false sense of security with my un-back like body type!

Salvation Army is pretty good, been polishing my tuba quiet a lot with some help from the young lady volunteers.

I cannot reveal the name, although he has said something about a donkey and fireworks on Saturday (his grand unveiling) and has asked for a sound system to be set up for his entrance music.
