Just as an indication on how popular rugby still is with our younger generation, at Caldy last week we had over 60 Under 6 & 7's running aroung Paton Fields, joining our Mini Section this year. This is great news as perhaps it is an indication that the seeds for future senior players are still being sown in the NW of England. I know we are very fortunate to have a strong Mini & Junior base at Caldy, but how have other clubs at our level found M7J recruitment? Are we experiencing a "World Cup" blip?

I'd agree Jugman ... according to a 1st XV player that helped out with the U6s last week there were plenty of them! He did say it was more akin to herding sheep than coaching rugby though so it may be a bit premature to judge if any quality is there in the quantity!!
The advantage law is the best law in rugby, because it lets you ignore all the others for the good of the game.
