What an appalling display from Doncaster today. Second best in every department. Can't think of one positive thing about them.

Wish I'd been snowed in

What an outstanding display from Richmond . .  in conditions that should never have been played in. Richmond 7 was another level.
Run with it

Just thought of a good move by Doncaster.

Well done to Lee (the grounds man) for his excellent sweeping of the lines at half time.

One major factor was the wind and who coped with / used it effectively.

Couldn't get to the Lane yesterday, but reading on our Fans Forum it was a closer game than the score suggested. Playing into a Blizzard in the first half and only going in 0 - 6 down gave our Supporters hope for the second half. In that first half the Titans mauled Bristol back over their Try line, but unfortunately because the lines were covered in Snow, they mauled over the dead ball line. Apparently LAM wanted to call the game off at half time, but the Ref said No. Fortunately for Bristol in the second half, the Blizzard died and the Sun came out. According to the supporters Bristol scored one good Try and one from a Forward pass, but that's how things go.
If only the Titans could have played their Rugby in 2017, with the same intensity as in 2018 we would be at least Mid-Table.
I'm not a Religious man but, just in case there is a God, I'd like one wish granted. That is to retain our Head Coach and at least 75% of our Squad, for next season.
If that happens I'd be willing to give up drinking Jameson's Single Malt for a FULL season.
Anyone who knows me, knows that would be the ultimate sacrifice.

We were 2nd best in most areas yesterday, Richmond played the conditions well, and put a real shift in defensively. Too many errors, penalties and lacking any real go forward. We got what we deserved.

Well played Mond.

Alright I'll admit it, that bit of my Post was perhaps not The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth,  but I'll guarentee that I could do a Week.

Absolutely delighted with Jersey's recent away form, 3 away league fixtures in 2018, 3 wins scoring a total of 123 points in the process. Truly fantastic effort.
I just wish that they would bring this form back to Jersey with them. In our 9 home league games we have seen us score just 155 points with 5 of the fixtures ending in defeat.
Fingers crossed that the lads can make amends in our last 2 home league fixtures of the season against Rotherham this Saturday and Nottingham on the 14th April.

You're right Brizzer. They need a bit more noise but we're nearly all guilty of being quiet, studious observers. Time to bang the boards and shout ourselves hohazelnut? "Allez les Rouges"

Actually, no Jerorky, that is not what I mean. I am going to stick my neck out now and suggest that the players should stop sticking themselves in the 'shop window' when they play away from home and start to put in performances for the Jersey faithful who actually pay their wages at home.

I think that the Jersey fans have every right to feel frustrated by a number of lacklustre league performances at home this season. HB stated before the season kicked off that he wanted Stade Santander to be a fortress this and our current home league record suggests anything but that. Yes, the B&I Cup is a different story, but we have not faced the same quality of opposition that we do in the league. I think that this will change when the Knights come to town for the k/o stages, but in the meantime, come on lads, let's see some of the quality that you have shown at Bedford, Bristol and LS on Saturday against Rotherham.

all of a sudden it doesn't look like much of a sacrifice, giving up "jameson's single malt" but being able to drink regular Jameson's - sneaky! (good work)
this is why events unnerve me

Chuff It,  I've been Rumbled.  It's a blend of Malted Whiskey and Grain Whiskey, then Triple Distilled.

I'll give up Sex for a Season instead.  It will be hard (or maybe not), but as I'm 70yrs old I think I'll cope with that easier than giving up Whiskey.
Come to think of it, at my age, Sex is now just something that comes between Five and Seven.
