My intepretation of

(d) Teams from the same Club shall not be permitted to play together in the same league;

is that two teams from the same club cannot play in a single league.  If I take Sussex as an example, last season

Hove played in London 3 South East (Level 7)
Hove II played in Sussex 1 (Level 9)
Hove III played in Sussex 2 East (Level 11)
Hove IV played in Sussex 2 West (Level 11)
Hove V played in Sussex 3 Central (Level 12)

[There is a Sussex Intermediate league between Sussex 1 and the two Sussex 2 leagues]

The RFU site has now been amended as I posted earlier in the thread

Sheffield Tigers have replaced Halifax in the North and assumed their fixtures

Luton have replaced Tigers in the Midlands and assumed their fixtures

However, no confirmation yet on who replaces Luton in London & South East with Luton showing in both Midlands & L&SE fixture lists
a Freudian slip is when you say one thing but mean your mother

Quote from FixSec "Didn't Mounts Bay start off as Penzance / Newlyn 2nds?"

This is a complete myth. When the Pirates went [semi] professional , Mounts Bay was formed [1999] by local players who wanted to play local fixtures for enjoyment and joined Cornwall 2. The confusion arises because they have always played at the Mennaye, the historic home of the Pirates. However they have always been a separate club with their own constitution, kit etc, and have paid rent [albeit initially nominal] to Penzance & Newlyn RFC who have been their landlords at the Mennaye.

If anyone doubts that the clubs are separate entities they should read some of the anti Pirates vitriole posted on the Bay forum [often by non Cornish "supporters"].

I don't think you will find any 'anti Pirates vitriole' posted on the Mounts Bay forum.

This is a complete myth....
I must have misread that bit on the MB web site.

"The Pirates had found it increasingly difficult to get regular and challenging fixtures for their reserves, the idea then mooted that perhaps a new club could be formed.

In December,1999 a Special Meeting of Penzance & Newlyn RFC unanimously endorsed its Management Committee's proposal for Mounts Bay RFC to be formed..."

Finally, the implications of Halifax withdrawing have been settled.  There were appeals at London 2 level (Level 7) that have just been sorted out... new fixtures lists at London 2 finalised on Sunday.  http://www.rfulondon.com/

Sheffield Tigers Level Transfered back to National 3 North
Luton Level Transfered back to National 3 Midlands
Haywards Heath reprieved (back to National 3 London)
Aylesford Bulls reprieved to London 1 South
Norwich reprieved to London 2 North East
Billericay reprieved to London 3 North East
[They didn't bother to replace Billericay in Essex 1...]

This left an imbalance at London 2, so a bunch of Level Transfers "around the clock"
Finchley from London 2 North East to London 2 North West
Twickenham from London 2 North West to London 2 South West
KCS Old Boys from London 2 South West to London 2 South East
