Sid, link with Wasps? Been there done that, didn't work.
Also two Tiger cubs on season loan. Don't tigers eat wasps?

Sort of fishing Oldman on the back of a pretty strong rumour !

Where are all the Academy players going this season in the Midlands - anyone ????

I'm sure the RFU will be looking to see the love being spread from the Premiership into the " grass roots community game"

The club I believe is working with Wasps on a community level but at senior playing, there isn't anything of note to mention

How can you have a solid link with Wasps?

I suggest you read the National league rules and regs, that clearly state you can only loan players to a side no more than two leagues below you.
So unless Hinckley are in National 1, they will not be getting any loan players from Wasps!

Supporters in High Wycombe thought they had a solid link with Wasps too.

He doesn't actually say 'loan' players, he says there is a solid link - they may be dual registrations rather than loans

Same rules apply to dual registrations - clubs, have to be within 2 leves of each other

Just had a PM from a club stalwart who assures me that there is no formal link with Wasps !

That being the case - Caldy Favourites For Nat Two North

Winning Nat 2 North is key as runner up tends to come second in the playoffs.

No chance it has to be Hinckley/Stourbridge/Fylde/Huddersfield/Chester/or another team

How could it ever be Caldy again they only have a wooden shack and cupboard full of assorted pot noodles.

Don't be making Caldy favourites SSR it just doesn't feel right..........

..............as some character in Poldark used to say "It ain't right Rick, it ain't right Rick"

Really, are you sure?

I have seen Harlequins DR players turning out for Worthing in N2S over the past few years.

Or is there a difference if they are classed as premiership Academy players?

Prem Academy players generally go out on loans to Nat1 & Nat2 clubs. Actual adademy teams play about six fixtures a year so it's left to the Nat League clubs to hone their match day skills. Again it's just pampering to the Prem clubs once more but there's always enough takers in N1 & N2
Result - very little organic growth within N1 & N2 as full up with loan players
There is also the ridiculous scenario of Academy players spending a month here then a month there and often playing AGAINST the team they were playing FOR a few weeks earlier
Not good in my opinion

Surely everyone has forgotten the obvious favourites for this division although based on comments from previous seasons they certainly won't be popular winners
