Am I right in thinking it will be three down from N2N but only two down from N2S in order to bring it back to strength next season.

Meaning  Westcombe are safe and therefore able to cancel their match with Shelford under the new NCA ruling.

I believe Preston v Westoe match is already a dead rubber and could be called off.

But the Huddersfield v Hull Ionian match may yet be a must win for Hull if other fixtures go against them

Westcombe Park must be grateful for MB demise and that they could cancel remainining games if they wish and end a miserable season. Will they be favourites for relegation next season?

I agree, from a situation of no authority, on all your points.

Preston still probably won't feel pleased with their lot - lost important postponed home fixtures for their finances to weather and rep calls for top opponents and now either opt for a late late end to their season or miss recovering what small home income they might still get at this stage as well as having to play three games in 8 days to accommodate one of those games postponed by Macc as they had 2 players in a rep game.

After their result against us yesterday, the answer is yes, but it could be any other of the 15 clubs, so we have to wait and see!!!

Based on current form I can't argue much, but I do know that planning for next season started a long time ago and that the benefits of this will hopefully pay off next season.

In regards the remaining games, I think we (like most other clubs) need the valuable income that the home games will generate.

What could have gone wrong, seemed to go wrong for Combe this season, but don't right us off just yet. Smile

Not quite. If Kendal beat Ionians and the Bees somehow manage to beat both Hudersfield and Caldy to accumulate another 9 or 10 points, the the Ionians v Huddersfield game will still need to be played. A very very unlikely scenario I grant you, but while there remains a straw to be clutched at, we will!
