I really, really, miss Clark Kent, anyone else feel the same way?

I just zipped through the pre-season "Whos going to finish top/bottom?" thread and some of his prophecies were brilliant!

We have had a couple of pathetically bad Trolls, but their tripe never came close to the gravitas and epic heights reached by Clark,at least we all knew he actually meant what he said.

Where are you Clark? Please come back and entertain us some more.Has the Forum at this level proved more difficult  than you might have imagined pre-season?

The League is still wide open and a lot can happen,we need your insight and vast wealth of knowledge of Nat 3 L & SE.

Have GForce had a cunning plan all along? The hot air that provided the Force seems to have changed from a hurricane to a gentle zephyr.(Google it ).

I agree, entertaining and provocative but solely missed over the past couple of months.

Is Clark perhaps one of those who have jumped ship from EG.?

I think I knew who Clark Kent was and I am fairly certain  he didn't really jump ship but was more pushed overboard.

Just to clear up a few things ,EG ( I still cant bring myself to saying G-Force) haven't been leaking players ,the loss of Walter Downey is a big one and there is no ready made replacement for someone as influential as he was.
There have been a lot of injuries  recently which I know affects all clubs so no excuses on that score, but 6 first choice players out against Guernsey , who's forward game was ideally suited to the conditions and it was not a totally unexpected result . There were certainly no excuses from any of the G's players or supporters as to who were the better team on the day .
I wouldn't write them off quite yet ,although I think automatic promotion is pretty much out of the question ,a play -off spot is not.
From what I have seen his year ,Dorking aside ,you couldn't fit a fag paper between the top 6-7 teams. The side that keeps their best team fit or gets on a roll can come into the mix.

Should make for an exciting second half of the season.

Sounds like EG might struggle again this week than, what with the amount of wet stuff around and forecast for the rest of the week.

I really miss Clarke Kent also but I have it on good authority he left to become a male model ! Seriously .

G Force will be fine. Some new faces have appeared back from injury notably Stav Economou but it may take the team some time to gel as a unit again. As Galeforce says dont write them off quite yet.
