Looks like a big game this season. Irish unbeaten but have never won at St Peter. Surely a game for the RFU to stream - in your dreams. Jersey likely to be short of about a third of their first choice squad through injury but home turf and conditions always important at St Peter. LI challenge to drink the club house dry. incredibly the neutrals might support Jersey.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

Certainly a big game. As a LI fan I'd be very happy going into the cup break 7 or 8 points clear at the top. Lose and the pressure is still very much on.

Probably the toughest game on paper along with Ealing away at the start of the season, given Jersey's home form and getting turned over there last time. Sure supporters of every other club will be cheering Jersey on (I would in their shoes).

Six days away yet already shaping up to be quite a weekend. Extra marquee now up giving three venues for prematch lunch and plenty of jollies for afters. I know of a few who have mates coming over - I have a group of 8 who've not been to a game here before. Last time Irish came over , you brought about 800 supporters so lets hope for more of the same.  Looking forward to it and hope the Club order enough Jersey Pride, and less of this biting North wind........
Come on Jersey........

No chance mate. A strong NE wind already organised for next Saturday and Jersey win the toss and are going down hill & down wind first half.

It would be great if the RFU arranged for this game to be streamed, but I won't hold my breath.

Looking forward to this one immensely. We'll be hosting a Friday night warm-up from 5.30- 7.30pm for those wanting to come up for a recce, and then on game-day there will be some Irish singers/ dancers, a good craic in the bars around the ground and, after the live game, international rugby in the clubhouse or a DJ in the marquee. Still space available in the supporters' marquee for lunch deal as well. Tickets are £15 if purchased by 2pm on Thurs (saving £4).

And, after a quick glance online, still some flight options from Gatwick, Birmingham & Southampton that won't break the bank...

Don't Eel, you will put them off....Of course, a well deserved win for your boys was the icing on the cake.

Very impressed with advice for visiting supporters on Jersey web site. Might get over there for the cup game.

As I believe its the only competitive match in the Championship this weekend I guess this thread can also serve for predictions etc. I assume Jersey will be still without 3 key first choice forwards but still hope for parity in the tight and loose scrums and a dominant lineout. With or without Kuki the defence should still be as good as any team in the league and the backs look to have pace to burn so I predict Jersey will win and score 4 tries to Irish scoring 2 tries. I assume Myler will play and his
kicking will secure a losing bonus point for Irish with important place kicks. Overall I predict a 5-1 match score for Jersey and a winning margin of 5 or 6 points. I predict a decent crowd of 2,277 and a force 5 wind. Have a great weekend all I can hardly wait. I predict Sean will have just ordered enough liquid refreshment to avoid a dry bar.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

Not making excuses, but I think if Irish had all available I would be confident of sneaking the win. However, recent line-ups have been far from what I would consider to be our best side and I would say Jersey are favourites for this one.

I really hope that this game lives up to the billing as it could be an absolute cracker.
LI are too good to have a poor game, so the result is more likely to be decided on how Jersey play or are allowed to play. So, which Jersey will turn up?
If it is the Coventry Jersey, then LI will win easily.
If it is the Richmond Jersey, then it will be close, but I would expect LI to sneak it.
If it is the Hartpury Jersey, then a close home win.
If it is the Cornish Pirates Jersey....hold onto your hats!!

To say that I am looking forward to this one is a massive understatement and I am really looking forward to catching up with the wonderful LI fans again. I just hope that they come over again in numbers as they did 2 seasons ago.

I think that, sadly, Irish will take it - not that I want that - I want things mixed up and the cat throwing in amongst the pigeons but I just have this sneaking feeling. I will however be listening to BBC Jersey and cheering for the reds to do a number on Irish. Please prove my sneaking feeling wrong and get a win reds.
Onward and Upwards C'mon Donny!

Jersey will hopefully nick it. I will have to see the Irish line-up before passing comment. having now seen the LI line-up I am pretty confident that Jersey will do the job at home. Reds by 7 points.
