Yes 1-5

Both clubs have now issued corrections to the final score which should be: Loughborough 26 OEs 69 (still 1-5)

There is a convoluted logic there. Lose the prediction and win the game. Matchmaker's  philosophy this season. Bullwhip always applied the same to some games.
Next week however it will be an away win for us at Caldy. Double whammy time.

Yep, I tottaly with that logic. Mine was wishful thinking tinged with not being outrageous based on your better results away from home. A punt that came off.

Cracking game at Brickfields yesterday. Not only did we actually play, but it was in fine weather. The scoreline didn't look too exciting, but the final quarter was a total vindication of the bonus point system; we were chasing the fourth try as Cinders were hoping to finish less than 7 down.

The visitors were perhaps more polished overall, but Albion continued last week's trend of doing more with less men. Bodies in the bin ain't so clever in the greater scheme of things - but it certainly sharpened the defence, if not the attack.

4-1 at the death, up to 7th in the (skewed) table. Our turnaround continues. V satisfying.
Come cheer up, my lads - 'tis to glory we steer!
