Or 626k over 5 players.
Significantly greater than annual central funding for the club, for just 5 players.

I apologise for that, my mistake, it was Satsuma, but still a similar loan company.

A pretty nothing article really that has a few platitudes but no concrete news other than this.

"The former Hull Ionians coach has made a good start to building a squad, fly-half Joe Ford heading back to Carnegie for a fourth time from Premiership side Leicester Tigers"

It may just be me but I think Yorkshire Carnegie may need a couple of forwards as well as a no 10.

So cost to 'generous donor' for paying private medical bills for 12 players less than £1800-really!! Would love to have access to a such a cheap private medical insurance scheme. Does anyone know of such a scheme? Interesting this 'news' out on day before final decision supposed to be taken. Mind you RFU and YC forum supporters appear to believe anything YC saying at the moment anyway so why not believe this as well?

We've had some negative press and I understand it, I get it, but from my point of view there's been a lot more positives to come out of this and I know there's a lot of people in Yorkshire backing us.

I'd suggest that hardly anybody in Yorkshire backed YC before this whole debical began, so I'd like to know just who's got any interest in them now.
I think that Mr Wood must have been drinking something very strong before he spoke to the Yorkshire post.

Does anyone know of any players leaving your Club to sign for Leeds. I live in Leeds and have heard nothing regarding signings, other than Ford.

He's probably just supporting the 'Yorkshire Carnegie' brand and staying on-message ! I agree, however, with your own comments !

There are a few names being talked about that have signed or are signing for Leeds - I'm sure when they start pre season the names will come flooding through

They should be disbanded : the whole affair stinks and heaps further ignominy on the RFU.

One rule for Leeds, another for everyone else. It stinks & the RFU are clearly not fit to govern our wonderful game with a clearly defined lack of moral backbone & ethical judgement. Shame on you RFU, shame on you.

All very predictable though. It smacks of politics and was no doubt decided long ago.

It also shows Begbies Traynor ran rings round an inept RFU . . the RFU do not represent my view of fair play or any of the other qualities of rugby. I fully expect Leeds to fail it is just a matter of when.

I feel very sorry for any player that thinks it is a good move to play for them . . they are either desperate or deluded.

I agree Runnitback, although it appears the medical payment issue has been sorted, I understand a payment was made by a sponsor to cover these costs. All players at at any ability should boycott this RFU franchise, (it is not a Club) after the way this has been mishandled, likewise so called supporters should boycott the team games their, monies would be appreciated by better meaning local clubs . This is from a true Yorkshire man who is embarrassed when he hears the name Yorkshire Carnegie, they are not the true spirit of rugby in Yorkshire

I doubt the gentlemen at Richmond will make any appeal, they have shown utter decorum through this whole debacle.

I truly hope that Leeds drop the YC moniker as they certainly do not represent the rugby fraternity of that fine county . .  and a number of other very very fine clubs in Yorkshire.
