Leeds Rhinos RL regularly have 12000 to 15000 spectators especially when match is not on Sky!

And it gets quite noisy - not sure you can say the same about YC games.

Maybe they could petition the The Fratellis to remove permission to use Chelsea Dagger - that'll stop the RL matches happening LOL

Now, is that a fact despite remarks on here that the YC matches attract few!

Wikipedia has a small squad squad list but not sure how up to date

Not very inspiring signings, and if these are first choice players . . best of luck!!!! Nearly enough players for a sevens team.
Run with it

A post from 'Dr Zaius' on the YC messageboard:
"The only thing this has to do with Leeds Rugby anymore is that they are giving us a stadium and resources for almost nothing".
So. Dr Z, what income do YC get on a matchday? If you think that 20% of the current YC budget from the RFU is 'almost nothing' then....

Yes but it used to be a lot more.
Which begs the question ...

I see Danny Care commented on the YC situation on twitter following the news of the Varndell signing, commenting on the unpaid wages from last year

I was going to post a video of spectacular try from Harrogate's pre-season match against Kings College on social media, and then thought I had better not as Leeds would poach the player.

What was the score please ? KSC won every league game last year at level 7 so would be interested to see how they got on.

57-12
Lots and lots of changes.
First 40 was quite even with Harrogate leading 17-7
Both sides swapped lots of players for the next 30 again quite even
Final twenty another raft of changes and Harrogate ran away with it a littl

A slap in the face to CLUBS like Doncaster.

I play Devils Advocate with some of my posts.

The rugby community is made up of clubs of all different types and sizes. From the village side with just one XV to those running five or more sides; those that have kids and colts rugby teams, to those that don't. To those that have womens rugby or disability teams to those that don't.

To those that own their own swanky stadium to those who play a school playing field and change in the local pub.

The clubs who are owned by sugar daddies with paid staff to those owned by the members and run by volunteers.

Each and eveyone play a part in our great game.

Therefore it is ridiculous to keep saying Yorkshire Carnegie are not a club. They are, they meet the dictionary definition and they are members of the RFU.

True. More accurate to say they are not an honorable club.

Thank you looks like they will be ultra competitive at level 6 as you are a very good level 5 side.

Just looked at Leeds news page, still just showing the 6 signings we know about. On their players profile page the same players are shown, in fact Varndell is shown twice, perhaps they are expecting twice the effort from him, if so they'll be disappointed.
I wonder if they've signed any more players, or holding their names back for a Grand Reveal.

looking at Leeds Forum they have a thread everyone hates us do we care ? A very strange and conceited attitude in view of whats gone on there over the last few years. A total and utter mismanagement, that should NOT go unpunished, now they are out taping up players in National Leagues from clubs who manage themselves properly prudently. And with no shame.
