Beckenham 1-5 HAC - I think this'll be a tough game in the mud.
Chichester 4-1 Cobham - Another heavy game on the legs. Havant 5-1 Thurrock - The AGP will help Havants runners. Horsham 1-4 Camberley - Cams will come back, but not a rout. KCS 4-0 Dartfordians - Kings to be crowned winners. London Cornish 0-5 Medway - Medway will show their metal. Westcombe Park 5 v 1 Belsize Park - Another tight game influenced by the conditions. #wetweekend

Bit at a loss for this week after the debacle of last Saturday...still here goes, buckle in and hold on tight!
Cannon is right it will be wet and wild this Saturday and I am not talking England v New Zealand but the South Coast so could be the battle of the packs. Becks v HAC 4:1 Home advantage and a good pack will prove the undoing for the masters of subbuteo rugby, sour grapes from me but the pitch in London was Lilliputian. Chi v Cob 4:1 Always tricky to gauge this one and we tend to foul up at home against a quality side, in fact not sure if we have beaten them at home for a while now, maybe this will be our time? Hav v Thurrock 5:1 Hav faithful will cheer their team home to another five pointer Horsham v Camberley 0:5 Camberley will heave their bus back on its wheels and resume normal service....unless of course someone knows something different? KCS v Darts 4:1 starting to feel for Darts they look a little rudderless. LC v Medway 1:5 Another tough day for improving Cornish but this will be close. WP v Belsize Park 4:1 This will sort the men from the boys...but the weather may well play a part and even it all up . The main event is early doors in Japan, sorry Eddie gonna have to go with the favourites, just luv the Kiwi work ethic which will prevail in the second half. Whatever the results wish everyone a great week-end of rugby and a peaceful week off before the final. Best, Vuarnet

I suppose we weren't that impressive against Darts, only put 43 points on the board !!! against a Darts side who are no mugs even given their position in the league at the moment..and as you alluded to, I dont think they'll be there for long, gonna be some sides go down there I'm sure of it Edited by HAVANT TONY - 25 Oct 2019 at 12:14 |

I stand by my opinion that Havant didnt impress me that much. Maybe my expectations were too high. Havant definitely deserved the win (as the scoreboard proves), but were on the ropes a few times, and a more confident Darts (with some wins under their belt) would have caused you a lot more trouble. Just my opinion.

Agreed! Havant have good players and do well on their own pitch, but I don't go much on the awful, un-sportsman like spectators, when I went down there last time I thought I was at a football match. the language I heard from some supporters towards players was disgusting, especially when they have a good following of junior players watching.
A little respect for travelling players and supporters wouldn't go a miss.

Yes we are loud, yes we are passionate, yes we have more fans than probably any of the teams in this league and probably above But WE RESPECT EVERY TEAM that play here and I have never known an away team not to be clapped off the field no matter what the result. And MANY a friendly chat has been had between supporters in both of our bars I can testify to that... What game did you hear swearing towards players?? Because according to your profile you HIDE behind being a QUINS supporter!π and I can only dream of ever seeing them play here! Edited by HAVANT TONY - 25 Oct 2019 at 20:11 |

As it's a rest week, I thought it may be appropriate to invite posters to review how they have found the season so far. Treat it as a blank bit of paper and comment on anything you want, not just the results. A few topics to get you thinking:
Away travel and size of support. Facilities away from home. Lunches-formal or informal. Best ales on offer. . This is our forum ! and it would be more interesting if we could attract the attention of supporters of the new teams in the league, so spread the gospel. . Add
'Best matchday programme' to this list' (a real shame that we lost 2 of the best in Totts and Chobham last season).

Accessibility with public transport?
Access to the pitches for supporters with walking issues or just old gits? Post match entertainment?

Its a good idea to throw the forum open to embrace the diversity of the clubs involved , provided of course its done constructively, and hopefully it may encourage some more comment and some fresh contributors.
Here goes with my thoughts:- Best crowd/support. Hands down this has to be Havant, vocal, and numerous home and away. Best Clubhouse/Business model. Has to be Cobham at the Curve. Rugby is at the heart of their model but they recognise the need to broaden the entertainment option. The food is excellent too. Best Match programme. Gonna go for ours, we have dropped the programme this season and opted for an all inclusive broadsheet, informative and available to everyone for free. Best venue has to be the HAC facility if you are fortunate enough to play there. It does have downsides in terms of the pitch size and changing rooms if there are other games scheduled but it has the WOW! factor. Best Match reports. Has to be Dickon from the Cornish Exiles, honest, informative, and available . Keep it up please! Best Post Match entertainment. So I am told it was me trying to emulate my teenage self and drink the bar dry after the final match last season. I won't be repeating that in a while..... Best Access to the ground. Crumbs! I would not vote for anything which involves the M25 but that works both ways... Still think that the distance to Chichester city with bus/coach and rail is eminently walkable and pleasant to boot so whats not to like? Best Match Photography. We have two fantastic snappers in Michael and Alison, not sure who got the shot of the low flying ten last week but it deserved a ten for capturing the moment perfectly. Think I have got the majority of the topics covered, any other takers from the stalwarts or any others who wish to chance their arm? Best Vuarnet |
