Sadly I can’t make it Vuarnet but have asked our DoR and BRex to find you for a beer. Enjoy the day and see you in the return fixture.

Right, I'm gonna have a moan!....because it's silly season yet again with the Hampshire cup this year. The competition starts at the quarter final stage with 5 teams?? But with Bournemouth u23's and Totts pulling out that leaves Us in a semi final with Jersey athletic, the winners of which will play Eastleigh in the final having played no games and at Eastleigh's ground!
Such a shame that a once highly prized competition has descended into a joke😖

Great to meet post match with you B Rex and thanks for the greetings Evergreen. Cripes! For a neutral that was a great contest and we were lucky for the result to go our way in the gathering gloom. With the arrival of your new coach and some great set piece plays you should be able to build as the season progresses. Looking forwards to the reverse fixture already.

Best, Vuarnet

Evening all

looking for a bit of help, don't suppose anyone knows who filmed our game against horsham on sat from the tower as our camera broke and Horsham didn't film it and we wouldn't mind a copy if at all possible

We were not good but scored an absolutely fantastic 3rd try, which if put on U-Tube would get loads of views.

We weren’t good, possibly our most disjointed performance of the season so far but have to acknowledge that Horsham were excellent and up there with the best sides we have seen so far, their winger was an absolute beast and fully deserved his hat-trick. Still, 5 points is what we targeted from the game and we achieved that so job done. Weird about the filming thing, it would appear someone has sent spies over. Quite bizarre!

I actually spoke to the guys filming, they insinuated that they were from Horsham. Our camera subsequently broke and we asked Horsham for a copy of the film to which they advised that they never filmed the game, when the 2 guys in the tower were referenced Horsham confirmed that they were not from them. So as it wasn't 'Combe or Horsham filming, I can only draw the conclusion that they were from another club. Yes, quite unbelievable at level 6!

There are video sharing arrangements between clubs in higher leagues as not all are as precious as others when it comes to letting opponents see what they're about.
WP may have had requests to share themselves.

Before u all jump to conspiracy theories, it may be worth asking the ref as we have found a few video games for their own development, and we are all the better for that!

The chaps insinuated that they were from Horsham, not sure why they would do that if filming the referee but will ask. Cheers

All is not OK at the Essex HQ.
But as soon as our delivery of fake tan turns up we will expect things to improve.

Camberley 5-0 London Cornish - A high scoring win for the pros!
Cobham 1-5 Westcombe Park - A tough win for park on the road in Surrey!
Dartfordians 4-1 Beckenham - Game of the week, Darts will just win.
Medway 5-0 H.A.C. - A tough trip to Kent for the Gunners.
Thurrock 1-5 Chichester - Having "watched the video" I think Chi will inch this one.
Belsize Park 5-1 KCS Old Boys - I think Park will nick this!!
Horsham 0-5 Havant - Only one result here, a win for the visitors!!

Enjoy your weekend all...

North of the river this week-end and it looks wet to boot! Durn, lets hope the M25 behaves

Camberley v LC 4:1 Reckon the weather will even this up and Cornish spirit will shine in the rain, sorry Dickon but you will fall short against the Saracens...
Cobham v WP 1:5 Have Rob down for another 5 pointer but reckon Cobham may sneak 2 rather than one losing bonus points. Tough place to go, ask Havant.....
Darts v Becks 4:1 Cannon called this and its a real 10 pointer as B.Rex put it. If they play as they did last week then it will be tight but Darts will get their 1st win of the season for the New Coach, Happy days!
Medway v HAC 5:0 Power of the pack to prevail here and with the conditions it will all conspire against HAC.
Thurrock v Chi 1:4 Never an easy trip and the weather may not help, but hey if we roll our pack out and don't concede pens it could be a worthwhile journey.
Belsize v KCS 4:1 Belsize will want to bounce back after last weeks visit to Havant.
Horsham v Hav 1:5 Another tough day for Horsham on the battle of the plastic pitches, who will master the surface? Think the Hav Faithful will go home happy!

A proper mixed bag this week, weather will be dull and gloomy but these games will all be hotly contested. Wishing you all a safe trip and an entertaining game and may the best teams win!

Oh and a footnote to all the officials both in the middle and on the line, thank-you all for without your dedication and volunteer spirit the games would not take place.

Best, Vuarnet

Camberley 1-4 Cornish - Injury hit squad for camberley
Cobham 1-5 Westcombe Park - Parks too physical in the wet
Dartfordians 4-1 Beckenham - Home advantage to count
Medway 5-0 H.A.C. - Medway fo continue their challenge for top 2
Thurrock 1-5 Chichester - Thurrock in a rut at moment
Belsize Park 1-5 - KCS had a good showing last week - dangerous backline
Horsham 4-1Havant - Horsham big pack and dangerous winger, upset in this one

Enjoy your weekend all..
