Thanks Gareth and likewise on my part. Wonder who will benefit most from the break
The older I get, the better I was.

A very happy 2019 to you all. Shall we open the year with some punts on the opening weekend’s fixtures? Will be interesting to see if the break has any impact.

Chichester vs Medway - Medway win. Not the happiest of hunting grounds for the men in scarlet and gold but will back them to triumph.
Chobham vs Sevenoaks - Sevenoaks win. Easy post-Christmas loosener for Oaks.
Darts vs Camberley - Darts win. Darts will be better in the tight, and will have trained over Christmas where Camb haven’t.
Havant vs Brighton - Brighton win. Blues in the box seat and it’ll take someone better than Havant to derail them.
Hove vs Cobham - Cobham win. Don’t anticipate the dust being blown off Hove’s W column any time before September.
Cornish vs WP - Cornish win. Cornish pushed Park close at home, and I’ll gamble WP heads are down now the season is gone.
Thurrock vs Totts - Thurrock win. Thurrock hoping the break doesn’t interrupt their form, Totts hoping it restores some of theirs. Thurrock to have too much for Totts after that journey.

Happy New year to everyone. Looking forward to seeing what 2019 brings us.

My predictions for this Sat:
Chichester v Medway win. Although Chichester seem to have some of their players back from injury etc... Medway will be too strong. BP win for Medway

Chobham v 7oaks. Convincing win by 30+ points for 7oaks

Darts v Camberley. Darts pack to dominate and keep the ball away from the dangerous Camberley back line. An upset win by a small margin for Darts.

Havant v Brighton. Close game. Brighton to win by 7 though and get BP

Hove v Cobham. Cobham to win away, but Hove get a losing BP

Cornish v WP. WP too strong for Cornish. They may not be title contenders but they will still win against most teams in the bottom half of the table. BP win for WP

Thurrock v Totts. Thurrock to continue their good form and sneak a win

All the best for 2019...

Chi vs. Medway, away BP win
Chob vs. 7Oaks, away BP win
Darts vs. Cam, home win, LBP Cam.
Havant vs. Bton, Havant starting to show some form on the new pitch a tight game, away BP win & LBP for Havant.
Hove vs. Cobham, stick my neck out Home win & Cob LBP
LCornish vs. WP, looking at the form before Crimbo, LCornish win.
Thurrock vs. Totts, BP home win.

On the train to Havant tomorrow, bang goes dry Jan

Think it will be tight..looking to our boys to crack on from the camberley game and give your lot a fright..confidence is back in the lads and so are a few that have been missing for a while..so I'm hoping you have to drown your sorrows in the bar with a few HSB's
( very much a local beer that used to be brewed just up the road until fullers got hold of it!)
Beware it does have the ability of converting you into a dribbling mess if you over indulge though😁

So 2019 is finally upon us, HNY all maulers!! So now I’ve sobered up time to make some predictions.....

Chichester v Medway - Away win to keep Chi in the worry zone!
Chobham v Sevenoaks - Big upset of the week at Fowlers Wells and smiles for the Surrey boys, you gotta hope!!
Dartfordians v Camberley - 3 in a row for Camberley, losses that is! I think this is there promotion run over!
Hove v Cobham - An away win for the Surrey boys will give them a little space from the relegation battle.
London Cornish v Westcombe Park - Despite Cornishes improvenents, an Away win.
Thurrock v Tottonians - Home win for the Northerners.
Havant v Brighton - Big Away win for the Blues.

Happy New Year.

Chichester v Medway - Away win but a tight contest.
Chobham v Sevenoaks - Away win but close. No easy games in this league away from home.
Dartfordians v Camberley - Another away win. Camberley cant afford to lose.
Hove v Cobham - Yet another away win.
London Cornish v Westcombe Park - Cornish win, Combe appears to be a mess. I hear that committee members are resigning, the club is in debt and the DOR has a contract that means the club can’t afford to sack him.
Thurrock v Tottonians - Home win.
Havant v Brighton - Away win but this could be a cracker.

With all the top sides playing away I fully expect there will be an upset somewhere. Let’s wait and see!!!

Surely no L6 club would enter into a contract with such aggressive terms? It’s not like they’ve signed Rob Baxter - the DoR’s sole achievements are getting Chi into the National leagues and that was after several years of falling away after being well placed for promotion.

Combe then signing him after getting Chi relegated and Combe then getting relegated themselves !!!

Madness indeed. No wonder Committee members are resigning if they were responsible for signing him in the first place.

Gave Brighton a fright by beating them😀😁What a performance from our boys, the whole team stepped up and gave everything..richie Janes even gave his nose by breaking it into several bits!!!... Says it all about our boys massive effort and sent Brighton home with their second loss of the season...they didnt even stay to have a beer in the bar afterwards..boring sods!!

Great result for Havant, very well played clearly. WP only heading in one direction now, woeful from them after the early season bravado.

A ding-don’t affair at Chichester today, and Medway good value for their win.

Chichester team were very physical and aggressive through out, especially the 8 who found the right gear right from the off with some very strong lines.

Chi not at all helped by playing for 30 minutes with 14 men - a nice club, with good facilities (including my excellent vantage point from the balcony), somewhat embarrassed by one player in particular who seemed to have come only for a fight - yielding numerous penalties against him, and eventually a yellow card after the referee finally spotted his foul play. Disappointing that anyone at this level is coming with that attitude.

Well done to London Cornish - when you consider not all that long ago there were such a gulf in divisions between them and Westcombe Park - that is a great result today.
