Hi WR
Thanks for the response. You correctly alluded to an incident in which punches were thrown but this was in a match already intensely competitive as local derbies tend to be. I do not believe either player meted out additional blows to the other but the resultant penalties did differ markedly hence my question. The fact that one players ban was reduced from 8 weeks to 6 for his good behaviour does render the difference more incongrous. In consideration of your comment on referring this to the RFU we share the same opinion that nothing would happen. A few years ago I raised the question how clubs could charge more to visiting fans than the home supporters to watch the game as it was discriminatory and the additional revenue raised was miniscule, the silence was deafening, guess Will Carling was right all along.

Well it’s time for my farcical predictions again!!

Chobham vs Chichester - Home win because it’s in my blood!

Cobham vs Havant - Another home win as Cobham last few results have been against the contenders and they have the strength.

Hove vs Dartfordians - The first Kent win of the week, oh dear Hove!

London Cornish vs Thurrock - I’m going against the form and see a home win for Cornish!

Sevenoaks vs Camberley - This result of the game will show Sevenoaks metal for the rest of the season, but a visitors victory.

Tottonians vs Brighton - The biggest points difference of the weekend, with a Brighton win.

Westcombe Park vs Medway - Number 2 game of the weekend with the league leaders continuing the upset for the newbies!

Have a good return weekend all and one, here’s to no serious injuries!
Rucks and mauls may bust my balls, but whips and chains excite me!!
