"43 unavailable players" bit harsh on the ones selected on game day being 44th/45th/46th ... choice.
Coaches must have a huge headache when all 80 first team players are availble LOL

A headache our coaching team will be delighted to have, and will increasingly get!

And back to grassroots!
BP 2 v 4 Horsham, Horsham to nick it.
Cam 5 v 2 Havant, game of the week! going home advantage could be close.
Cob 4 v 0 Becks, Home advantage.
Darts 1 v 5 LC, that's if the 40 or so players are back.
HAC 0 v 5 WP, Big win.
Medway 5 v 0 Chi, tough place to go.
Thurrock 4 v 0 KCS, Thurrock to step up a gear or 2.

Very surprised to see Brighton at the foot of the table, what's your impressions of the league so far, sevenoaks seem to be coping much better than the blues at the moment?

Back to business and there are a couple of tasty treats this week so here goes...

Belsize P v Horsham 4:1 Think home advantage will tell and this will be the first real test for Horsham.
Cam v Hav 5:1 Belated fireworks night here with top entertainment during daylight! Fancy Camberley to enjoy the mud n dirt a little more than the well supported Havant.
Cobham v Becks 5:0 Cobham are a good side and will want to bounce back from their last result, watch their 8 he is quality.
Darts v Cornish1:4 Both teams will want to kick on this week but I think the break will have given Dickon more time to rally the troops.
HAC v WP 0:5 Depends if this on the plains of Chiswick or the matchbox, the latter may stifle the flair of the backs. Weather looks good so predict another 5 pointer for Rob.
Medway v Chi 1:4 Think the packs may cancel each other to a degree, I am sure Medway's injury list has improved so it will be a an early Christmas cracker.
Thurrock v KCS 5:0 Not an easy place to go to and I think that the physicality will prove too much for KCS.

Looks like the kent fixtures will be dry(ish) and those to the west cold n damp, sure that the action on the pitch will warm everyone up! Have a great day and a safe trip to and from the match.

Best Vuarnet

Interesting day tomorrow. I shall be over in Chiswick in search of a beer or two before the game as apparently there are no pre match drinks available at the ground. Total anathema to me, but all part of Rugby's rich tapestries. I shall try and give the Havant faithful a review of what's around.
The older I get, the better I was.

WR
I can give you a heads up here...
Been to chiswick's ground and the surrounding grounds of Civil service and Barnes a number of times
I remember an equally weird situation at chiswick where they had beer, but refused to show the England v Scotland six nations live game in the clubhouse so the players could watch a recorded version of it after the chiswick v Havant game had ended!!!!
Your best bet is to nip over the bridge to Barnes and quench your thirst in the Bulls Head a very good pub (apparently a pub where the rolling stones used to play their early gigs!)...then on to the Coach House but the best pub in my view is the Sun Inn by the village green
Hope you manage to watch the game after a pint or seven in each of them 🍺

Tough old league, defence and how you break it down looks to be key IMHO.
The lads have had some close games so far, spirit in the team is still good.
Wimbeldon & Rochford still to play before Christmas, think they will be top two at the end.
Happy hunting at Camberley today, beat them and a good chance at top two come the end of the season.
Will miss the HSB this season that's for sure!

Went to camberley and we were massively dominant in the first 30 mins but failed to turn it into points and paid the price
Fair play to them as they turned it around and got the W on a day where the rain never stopped..
Good banter in the bar afterwards with camberley sporting the worst pink stripey vomit coloured deckchair blazers I've ever seen in my life🤮🤣!

Arguably the result of the day was Darts 2s turning over Tonbride Judds 2s at Bourne Rd on Saturday - suspect there were a few jars sunk until well into the night on the basis of that win!

Beckenham 0-5 Medway - This could be a painful Kent derby for Becks!!
Chichester 5-0 Dartfordians - Comfortable home win for Chi.
H.A.C. 1-4 Cobham - The Surrey boys will go home with a smile!!
Havant 5-0 Belsize Park - One of three tight games, but the plastic will benefit the home boys!
KCS Old Boys 0-5 Camberley - Easy way win for the wounded Cams!!
London Cornish 5-1 Thurrock - Both teams need the points, but the Exiles will benefit.
Westcombe Park 5-0 Horsham - Parks roll will continue!!

Have a great weekend all.

European Rugby starts tonight but the real deal is tomorrow....so here goes with this weeks predictions!

Becks v Medway 0:4 Medway are without a number of players through injury, this will be closer than many predict.
Chi v Darts 4:0 Darts won this last year as we were without a front 5 cannot see this being repeated but fancy a close contest.
Hav v Belsize 4:1 Belsize have impressed with their speedy backs so if they master the plastic they could reverse my prediction!
KCS v Camberley 0:5 Camberley still climbing...
London Cornish v Thurrock 1:4 Thurrock have confounded me with their form but fancy them to bounce back this week.
HAC v Cobham 1:5 Cobham are a strong team and provided its at Chiswick will run around or through HAC
WP v Horsham 5:0 Rob knows the value of the bonus point results and will ensure the more painful lessons of level 6 are meted out to the new boys.

Weather looks dry though the grass looks far from it! Looking forwards to a cracking contest and would love to make acquintance with BRex or Evergreen if they are travelling. Good luck to all and may you all have a safe trip to and from your favoured location.

Best, Vuarnet
