I went to this game and thoroughly enjoyed the display from both teams. Jersey have a very big pack and they almost tipped the balance but not quite. They seemed on the verge of overpowering the Scottish forwards but credit to them they held firm.

Both sets of backs looked very capable and inventive with the long cross kick working well for both teams and leading to scores out wide.

It was a very entertaining game as a neutral , unfortunately  the bagpipes were missing ! but there is a new P.A. system and the commentating had incredible volume and more than made up for the dulcet tones of the missing bagpipes.

Ambition should be made of sterner stuff.

I also agree. The result could easily have gone either way and although the weather was dreadful the banter on the ODP side was excellent. The Scottish forwards defence of their try line at the end was magnificent. Great to see Jarad Saunders before the game - he will be a great asset for Scottish when fit again.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.
