LSE looks tougher than ever this year...

Promotion frontliners looking to be ...
Guernsey
LIWG
Wimbledon

Chasing the front pack ..
Tring
Hertford

Mid table regulars..
Dorking
Guildford
Sidcup
Twells
Bedford
CS Stags

And the newly promoted..
Rochford
Sevenoaks
Brighton

How are the newcomers going to fare - especially interested in Rochford?
Who from the mid table regulars is getting dragged into relegation?
Who is getting promoted, are we going to see another team coming out of nowhere ala Sutton and Epsom style?

Both SevenOaks & Tring appear to have pre season games at Bracknell - which may be good for early comparisons (assuming the bracknell teams are the same)

Rochford to win this league at a canter.
The older I get, the better I was.

This.  Two seasons with a 100% record of bonus-point wins, they are clearly very ambitious and (I'm guessing) well backed.

Unless they now have a squad of players capable of playing two levels above their current level as before then it won't be a " canter".Their players are now at the level they should be and as everyone else is also at that level there should be much more resistance than Rochford have experienced thus far.

That as maybe, however Winning is a habit and Rochford certainly seem to have financial clout.

What superior players have they recruited with their "financial clout " ?

No idea, just using previous reports of recruitment and assuming that they may follow the same route.

Only time will tell.

Allegedly they have all of Southend's money.

You maybe correct, however I would be wary of underestimating them

I don't know about the backing but there's a good ethos at Sevenoaks.  A nice feel to the Club.  Their 1s, 2s & 3s all finished either top or 2nd of their league last season (There was a post on their website before their 2s(?) final match of last season saying they would finish 2nd or top. 1s & 3s confirmed top of respective leagues).  If there's a big gap between your 1s and 2s it means nothing, but I do expect them to be competitive this season.

In terms of Rochford and 2 seasons straight through to level 5... Tunbridge Wells had a similar run before joining L&SE Prem and managed 5th in our first season.

It doesn't matter what you do in what league - sooner or later you'll find your level.  It would be foolish to take Rochford lightly but I'll be very surprised if they go straight through.

It does look like it's going to be a competitive league and there are a few from last season (us included) that will have to step it up if they want to stay put beyond this coming season.

I think 7 Oaks will struggle at this level if they stay up that would be a huge achievment for them. I hope they continue in their grass roots ethos though.
They will do well at home though the paddock is a tough place to go to & win.

Brighton will be comfortable at this level.

Rochford are the unknown entity i think.

Tough Division from top to bottom again !

The 2's did win their league making it a clean sweep of 1's, 2' & 3's titles with the 1's winning the London 1 title at its most competitive level ever. A very impressive achievement together with winning numerous age group county titles.
As you say, there must be a wonderful feel good factor going on there right now.
They are amateur as well.

WR. I read recently that the current backer of Hundreds had achieved his objective and had reached the end of the road?? Certainly RH started to reclaim a lot of Southend players when they were relegated from N3LSE. I know they were unbeaten last season but not that far ahead of Colchester who lost the play-off to Brighton. On a guide through Colchester who spent one recent season at L5, the form is good but doesnt ring as anything special. I accept that RH were probably not fully tested last season, and speculation remains as to how much they have recruited this close season and how deep their pockets are. I agree that N3LSE looks the strongest it has ever been, so there will be more emphasis on strength in depth, the quality and backroom facilities of the medical staff, and as usual BP,s throughout the season. Looks a wonderful cast, likely to be full of drama, and cant wait for the curtain raiser.
