You have Derby in bold print indicating them to win but state HOME win - are you just hedging your bets and will claim a point whatever the result?
Have to check these things now I'm within touching distance of top spot!!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜—

You're right I did but fortunately I also said I was going for a Home win. Big smile
I'm sure my learned friend Stallion will as the sole arbiter of the league will see me right Wink

Bournville 13-19 Bridgnorth

Newport 34-5 Lichfield

Nuneaton 24-7 Doncaster

Sandbach 20-8 Derby

Scun-thorpe 14-12 Burton

Sheffield 16-21 Broadstreet

Syston 19-29 Luctonians

For the second week in a row, The Chocolatiers make a fist of it against higher placed sides at home, both securing a losing bonus point and denying the visitors the try bonus. On this occasion promotion hopefuls, Bridgnorth, struggled. Newport made amends for faltering last week with a comprehensive, bonus point win over Lichfield, allowing them to close the gap over the teams above them. Nuneaton got back to winning ways over a Donny side that seems to be plagued by under-confidence and simply didnโ€™t turn up for the second half. Sandbach were dominant over a Derby side who seemed to be sapped of energy after their toils from the previous week. A tight game at Sheffield saw the visitors, Broadstreet, produce the surprise of the day and take the spoils to leapfrog over the hosts in the table. Despite being pushed all the way, Lucs managed a bonus point win over Syston to keep in touch with the top 3.

Cobblerโ€™s ploy not to support his own team has paid off as he pull out a solitary point lead over his nearest rivals and is top dog in the Christmas table. It is, however all to play for in the second half of the season.

Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year all

I wouldn't expect anything less, pint Beer next time we meet Lou. Which I hope won't be in the near future. Handshake
Have a good Christmas and a better New Year with a few more wins.

"Cobblerโ€™s ploy not to support his own team has paid off as he pull out a solitary point lead over his nearest rivals and is top dog in the Christmas table."

Just goes to prove that loyalty does not win you prediction leagues!

As has been said elsewhere, thank you Stalion for running this "League" particulalrly when your loyalty is to a club that is not part of it.

Happy Christmas to all fellow predictors!
