This week’s fixtures are:

Bees -v- Doncaster Phoenix

Bournville -v- Newbold

Bridgnorth  -v- Longton

Derby -v- Lichfield

Nuneaton -v- Sandbach

Peterborough Lions -v- Old Halesonians

Scunny and Newport have a week off this week as several postponed games are played. Several of us are dependent on the Bees/Donny game for the chance of a 10-pointer. The remaining games are from week 21. If you could re-post your predictions here, it would greatly assist me in compiling the results.

Note that according to the RFU website, the Bournville/Newbold game is being played on Friday night.

Life is a game but rugby is serious!

This weeks efforts. It's going to interesting.

Birmingham & Solihull v Doncaster Phoenix HW Bees on a roll again weather not suitable to Phoenix game plan.
Bournville v Newbold HW Are the Chocolatiers going to be able keep the Pudding club at bay after last weeks efforts with the bottom 3 all winning last week. Just I think.
Bridgnorth v Longton HW 'North at home just too much for relegation fighting Longton.
Derby v Lichfield HW Lichfield being dragged into the relegation dog fight, Derby's chance to keep them clear of the relegation zone. Should they lose they could be dragged in to it.
Nuneaton v Sandbach HW Which 'Bach is going to turn up? Will it be the 1st team or the 2nds and colts to save the rest for PL and Scunny? Wink
Peterborough Lions v Old Halesonians HW PL to cement their 2nd place.

Luckily for us we have no game this week half the club are at HQ this week.

With a sigh of relief we return to underdog status. Never been very good at being favourites.

Bees -v- Doncaster Phoenix H – 3 home games could see the prize in our grasp. Team very much focussed on the task in hand, one game at a time.

Bournville -v- Newbold H – Newbold will push hard as they press for safety. Not sure the AGP will suit their game

Bridgnorth -v- Longton H – Bridgnorth will not want to repeat last week's performance against a bottom 3 side at home

Derby -v- Lichfield H – training on the AGP may help Derby's cause

Nuneaton -v- Sandbach A – disappointed with Nuns last week and Sandbach will need to make amends for their surprise defeat last week. Sorry PendaBig smile

Peterborough Lions -v- Old Halesonians  - despite their first win of the season, OH will find this fixture just a little more tricky.

[Some interesting games this week. Relegation battle hotting up and not sure the all home wins tactic will prevail. Longton, Lichfield and Bold all looking to escape relegation battle. Have a feeling atleast one of these will win on road. Sadly no idea which so sticking with home wins across board.

Well if you can't be favourites against the team who haven't won a game for nearly a year then when are you going to be favourites? Against the team who haven't lost a game all season and nearly a year? WinkBig smile I think we need to discuss this further on 7th April over a pint.
