Sandbach v Newbold on Avon HW Bach to be too much for the pudding club.
Well done the Pudding club! Nobody saw that coming.  Ouch

2 quick tries for 'bach then a Red card and slow suicide.

Well done Newbold and particularly old 'bach boy Richard Murray.

Week 19 result:

Bees 22-0 Longton

Bournville 30-14 Lichfield

Bridgnorth 30-5 Doncaster Phoenix

Old Halesonians 10-50 Nuneaton

Peterborough Lions 22-3 Newport

Sandbach 19-23 Newbold

Skunthorpe 29-0 Derby

Continued rain turned the Portway pitch into a mud bath but Bees managed to nil Longton, who remain 7 points off safety. Bournville comprehensively dispatched Lichfield who must have fancied their chance after playing so well the week before. Nuns demolished Old Hales who can’t buy a win at the moment. In the battle for second place, Lions have made it their own whilst Newport’s season seems to be unravelling. Lions can now focus on closing the gap on Bees. Performance of the day must be from the Pudding Club whose win over fancied Sandbach has taken all by surprise. Skunthorpe’s good form continues with a regulation win over struggling Derby.

In the league, the gap has closed at the top but I still lead with Rdh160 close behind. Given that our teams are playing each other tomorrow, it could be all square at the top. Loser buys the beer, Rdh160?Beer Will Scarlet seems to making 3rd place his own. He, Bin licker and Friendly Prop are the only ones with any prospect of a full house for week 13 and the only difference between them is that BL has predicted a Sandbach win.
