Talking of weird things - Nuns gave debut to a 48 year old last Saturday. Well done Chris Smith.

Well after last night's cup game during a major downpour, the pitch has been mushed up beautifully for Saturday. All we need is a bit more rainfall, and it will be just perfect.

Heard a rumour that the are 5 from Peterborough in hospitality this Saturday. Are any Lions posters in the group? Bring your wadersSmile

Yes the Lions Massive will be in attendance at Bees today for the lunch, with the minions following on later
We need to win our last 3 games to ensure home advantage against Hull in the play off, and as our next game is the Bees, lots of videoLOLLOLLOLLOL to take out the stingWink

You will actually need 3 bonus point wins to guarantee home advantage in the play offs

Bees v Newport game, delayed by the late arrival of the referee (who had a puncture on the way in), was called off 7 minutes before the re-scheduled KO by the Newport captain, who deemed both pitches available as unsafe.  It is now in the hands of the league secretary. The Scunny v Donny game took place on what looked like a very wet pitch (wetter than either of the Bees pitches) with home team coming out on top.

Not much change at the top of  PL but Harvey Mac has pulled out another point on his nemesis, Westwood

Well there are those who want to play and those are less inclined to, but in the words of our good "friend" Phil Llewellyn formerly of Nuns "Question whether it was ultimately playable, it was, we've got through the game" "They like to ambush teams up here" LOL It certainly was less than Sunny in Scunny on Saturday but we had a good crowd including some Sc'thorpe United fans who I also think had a good day.
