Bournville v Sunny Scunny AW Going for my team
Bridgnorth v Birmingham & Solihull AW Going for Bees. Will be an interesting test for them.
Derby v Sandbach HW Home team
Doncaster Phoenix v Peterborough Lions AW Will be Donnys' 1st test in this league and with Lions now playing rugby should be interesting.
Lichfield v Old Halesonians HW Home win. Old Hales going back to traditional rugby will cost them this season.
Longton v Nuneaton HW Home win. Don't know where Nuns are going "Too many players not available" according to the cricket supporter.
Newbold on Avon v Newport (Salop) HW  Going for the "Pudding Club" with the home advantage.

Week 3 results were:

Bournville 36-12 Scunny

Bridgnorth 15-34 Bees

Derby 37-32 Sandbach

Doncaster Phoenix 11-30 Peterborough Lions

Lichfield 27-19 Old Halesonians

Longton 36-27 Nuneaton

Newbold on Avon 13-62 Newport (Salop)

Bournville seemed to have come back well from last week but I understand Scunny were without key players. Bridgnorth were a handful and, despite loosing their first 3 games, should have more than enough  to finish mid-table IMHO. The Derby - Sandbach game looked like an entertaining affair. The top of the table clash saw Lions nail their title winning credentials firmly to the mast with a big win away against Phoenix. Lichfield find themselves in 4th spot with a -40 points difference whilst OH remain rooted at the bottom of the table, pointless. Longton's home win seems to indicate that Nuns are not the force they were last season and Newport continue to sweep aside  all that is put before them. Will they be as Derby were last season or can they maintain their wining ways?

Once again, this week's PL was devoid of any full-houses but several of you were close. Well done to Harvey Mac, Thatbloke, Welshwonder, Westwood1944 and Will Scarlet Clap, getting 6/7 correct. I need to clean my crystal ball up a little with paltry 3. Top of the table on his own is Thatbloke Star, closely followed by  Harveymac & Westwood1944, separated only by alphabetical order.

"Doncaster Phoenix v Peterborough Lions - Game of the day.  Both had close opening games and easier outings last week. I think I’ll go with home advantage (& Mrs Stallion says DP)"

Stallion - Do you always take the easy option for a quiet home life ??? Ouch
Going to have a quiet drink followed by ten noisy ones !!!!!

Harvey Mac I'm surprised at you asking that question. I'm pretty sure you said previously you'd had dealings with Mrs Stallion and you should therefore know better. Ouch

FP - I think you must be getting Mr and Mrs Stallion mixed up.

I deff had a beer or two at our place last year with Mr S.

I have had dealings with Mrs Harvey. She went for DP as well

Going to have a quiet drink followed by ten noisy ones !!!!!
