I believe we may have acquired one of your second rows- Chris Campbell who has moved to the area. Know much about him?

Great attitude, excellent in the line out and good pair of hands in the open. Not really going to do the hard yards but depends on your style of play. Probably played about 6 1st XV games, rest in 2nds
Typical services, here one week not the next - good grounding at Darlington MP and will be a useful squad player if and when available
Give him our best wishes from Newport

I suspect it is just an attempt to s**t stir and provoke further misinformed comments on this forum
Indeed after an aggressive 18 months of fund raising we are now in a position to purchase the lease on our grounds and facilities that will secure the future of the club for the next 100 years. In fact I am attending a black tie function this evening to celebrate our achievements in reaching this target.
As well as supporting the senior playing budget which remains well within the RFU ceiling for this level (This is non negotiable as we are being supported by an RFU Interest free loan to help with the above purchase) there are plans in place to develop 2 further pitches for M & J Rugby and to improve our rather dated and tired changing facilities
Anything else I can help you with?

Not at all. I’d heard from two different people in the neck of your woods that the sponsor had been bought out by a larger company, with the immediate effect being an end to the sponsorship agreement. If they’ve misinformed then fair enough, hence why it was precluded with the word rumours rather than cast iron fact.

Your little foray into the dramatic is perhaps uncalled for. I’m also sorry I suffer from insomnia and don’t meet your acceptable posting times.

As with most clubs all Sponsorship monies are gratefully received but we have always been careful not to succumb to the lure of one major sponsor in an attempt to avoid exactly what you have highlighted above. I think it would be fair to say we have a select group of "significant" sponsors and if we were to lose one it would be a blow but not life-threatening
