Overall I think the Chester/Wharfedale result was a pretty fair one. Lots of errors from both sides in the first half, but Chester tightened things up after the break and came out on top.

Bingham looked fantastic on the wing, as did Owen in his new role as Inside Centre / Kicker.

After a slow start I think we've started to push for the top six, but we really need to work on our discipline. If we play like that against the top sides in this league then we'll be punished for it.

Wharfedale tried forcing it when it wasn't on today - lots of unforced errors. I think if they'd gone through the phases more and been more patient then the result could have swung their way.

Have we finally found our replacement kicker? 🤔

DD agreed. Bingham is a good signing, just wish you'd left signing him till next week.
Lots of errors from Dale thay kept handing possession back to Chester. On the bright side there was an excellent showing from the 4 of last years u18 Colts Cup winners.

In the down side; was that a 28 penalty match?

Shay Owen is a very talented player.

BRB, too many penalties to count for both sides.

Some of the Wharfedale backs looked really handy, No. 13 especially, but they never really got going enough for us to see how dangerous they can be. With a bit more experience those ex colts will be a real asset for you.

With another win apiece yesterday for the top two, is anyone realistically going to catch them?
